  Most US companies in Singapore are coming here to sell their products and services here as well as the region. 
• If they pull back to US with no US companies here - they will will not be able to sell their products and services here and into the region. 
• In total, they are selling close to US$31 billion of products and services just in Singapore market alone.

    Eg. IBM, Cisco, Symantec, Microsoft, VMware, Google, Yahoo etc set up their companies in Singapore because they want to sell their IT products, services to the Singapore customers. 
  • If these companies don't set up their offices here, how do they sell their products and services to the Singapore customers? 
  • Eg. McDonald, KFC, Burger King etc set up their F&B shops here because they want to sell their food and beverages to the Singapore customers. 
  • If these companies don't set up their F&B here, how do they sell their products and services to the Singapore customers? 
  • Eg. Citibank, BOA, JP Morgan, AIA etc set up their offshore banks and insurance services here so that they can offer banking and insurance services to the Singapore customers? 
  • If these banks don't set up their offices here, how do they sell their products and services to the Singapore customers?

          Yes without TPP they can still set up shops here. But with RCEP, RCEP members will be more competitive due to zero tariff, privileged access, unrestricted market.

          Eg. i will prefer to buy Australia and New Zealand beef and steak than US beef and steak as they will be cheaper. 
        • I will prefer to buy China Fujian apples or Fuji apples than California apples as they will be cheaper. I will prefer to buy Huawei, Xiaomi, Samsung, LG than iPhone or Pixel or Microsoft phones. 
        • I will prefer to buy Lenovo, Fujitsu, Acer notebook etc than HP notebooks. 
        • I will prefer to buy Huawei, Fujitsu, Hitachi IT products than US IT products. etc
