It is good the e-bikes cannot ride on the roads from now on for their safety.
But e-bikes that now ride on the cycling path and pedestrian path - must reduce speed and watch out for pedestrians - to prevent hitting pedestrians.

Because all those who uses e-bikes are mainly youngsters, elderly uncles and aunties, man and woman -- where many do not have highway codes to ride on the road and compete for road spaces with vehicles, lorries, buses, trailers, motorbikes etc.
Riding on cycling path will be most ideal for them - because if anything happen, they will face less danger on the cycling path as no other vehicles cause danger to them.
But riding on pedestrian path - will pose some risk to pedestrians. Thus e-bikers must reduce speed when they see pedestrians and always on the lookout for pedestrians.
If everyone is looking out for the safety of e-bikers and allow them on the pedestrian path, e-bikers must similarly lookout for the safety of pedestrians who are allowing them to share the path with e-bikers.
