[12:00 pm, 21/05/2020] : ⏰ Our chat will be open till 8pm today ⏰
📢 Topic 📢
There will be adjustments in the way we live and work. What can we do to get ready for Phase 1 of lifting the CB measures?
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said in a Facebook post yesterday that people have to get used to a new normal, adjusting routines to live and work safely despite this global pandemic.
On Tuesday, the Government outlined plans for Singapore to ease out of circuit breaker measures. Singapore will embark on a month of "safe reopening" from June 2, where some businesses will be allowed to resume on-site operations and schools will gradually reopen.

Notice the case in community that includes the non dorm cases are quite high - 8.
We should not lower our guard and still be vigilant in ensuring wearing masks, maintain social distancing and personal hygiene must be observed at all times during work and school.
Else infection may flare up if we lower our guard.

[12:20 pm, 21/05/2020] ☸️  Danny 心:
It has been observed that more and more people are not taking the wearing masks seriously as people are seen not putting their mask properly, talk by pulling down their mask, and some even put their masks besides them while resting in a park.
All these are complacency that will trigger an infection flare up.

[12:37 pm, 21/05/2020] : Elderly will also think that they are “in” to follow
[12:40 pm, 21/05/2020] : Noted that virus is a serious thing but we always know youngsters will always rebel following the norm. Now a days we always hear that if they are not following the rules they will get fine. Then youngsters will think that following the rules is “chicken”. Can we think of another way?
[12:41 pm, 21/05/2020] : Such as having new trends on wearing cool mask/ personalised mask that they can show off.
[12:42 pm, 21/05/2020] : Youngsters will put in effort to do that.

[12:43 pm, 21/05/2020] : Household visit is tough to manage and enforce. A very grey area

Droll
[12:43 pm, 21/05/2020] : Use their rebellious tendency to get them to comply. I remember seeing an experiment where they sort of made it look like the teenagers were up against an authority that is trying to control them (I think the experiment was trying to get them to use less of an online service and the "sales pitch" was that the company running the online service was trying to exert control over them). It worked.

Valli
[12:56 pm, 21/05/2020] : MOM should ensure employers strictly adhere to mask wearing, especially job sites where majority are FWs. Eg. Marine & Oil industries n shipyards. - for the long term.
Companies who distribute yearly souvenirs to staff, should issue quality mask as souvenirs.

Ken

Valli
[1:01 pm, 21/05/2020] : No buts. Then can expect transmission rate to go up, and in turn infect the local residents who work together with them.
Companies should now source for comfortable reusable mask for this type of environment.
