⏰The chat will be open till 8pm today.
📢 Topic 📢
From today, businesses such as cake and dessert shops, hairdressing and barber services and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) halls can reopen with safe distancing and contact tracing measures in place. This includes setting up digital check-in system SafeEntry to facilitate contact tracing of patrons, and requiring staff to use contact tracing app TraceTogether.
As new global cases spark fears of a second wave of the pandemic while some businesses re-open in Singapore, how can we ensure we keep our guard up against COVID-19?

As business re-open, how we guard against covid-19?

(1) Wear resusable face mask during work and outside home all the time.

(2) Keep social distancing of 1 metre with minimum human touch point and do less socializing with fellow workers or customers to prevent infecgtion.

(3) Use SafeEntry for check-in and check-out to facilitate contact tracing - (location based tracking)

(4) For those workers who working and need to install Tracetogether apps - install the apps to facilitate human-to-human contact tracing. (not going to debate further on this (have said enough) - as Govt require workers to install in order to start business).
But backup phone data and do virus scan everyday - to safeguard your own data (and to recover your phone data if required to) and ensure your phone is not compromise by digital virus infection.

(5) Watch personal hygiene by washing hands with soap when need to.

(6) Ta bao food during breakfast, lunch, break or dinner - and eat alone (so as to prevent cross contamination) - when face mask is off.

SKorea open up, night club flare up to 101.

Valli
[2:43 pm, 12/05/2020] : This is to be expected.
Illogical move to open up nightclubs or bars.

[2:44 pm, 12/05/2020] ☸️  Danny 心:
Drinking and eating openly in public can cause cross infection - because the mask is off.

[2:50 pm, 12/05/2020] ☸️  Danny 心:
Socializing with human touch and contact also increase the risk of infection.
Social distancing to keep 1 metre apart and avoid social contact is the only way to prevent virus spreading.
Until vaccines are developed.

[2:55 pm, 12/05/2020] ☸️  Danny 心:
Lessons learned from SKorea nightclub flare up :-
(1) Drinking and eating in.
(2) Face mask off when eating and drinking
(3) Human contact and socializing
--- increase the risk of infection.
