Like all sentinent beings, hungry ghosts realm is unsatisfactory due to intense craving and attachment to its respective sensual desire objects.

The only way to pacify them, is to radiate Compassion to them - and tell them to let go of their intense attachment to its sensual desire objects. Once they are able to let go of the strong attachment, they will be able to leave the hungry ghosts realm and through their karma volition be reborn in a better realm.

Reciting of the Divine that make Bodhi Vows to alleviate hell realm and hungry ghost realm from sufferings will be the most effective.

Paranormal realm (Hungry Ghost Realm) - is a dimension in the Parallel Universe - that coexist with human and animal realm - except we are of different frequency or channel with them. Thus most humans are not able to see or hear them.

But once the frequency and channel is aligned, humans will be able to see the hungry ghosts realm beings.

Scientists if wish to look for aliens in space - should instead focus its attention on "Parallel Universe" - scanning and tuning for the right frequency and right channel - should be able to enter into the Paranormal realm - such as the hungry ghost realm.

Does ghosts (specifically hungry ghosts) exist in this World?

Almost every race and every culture encountered their own type of ghosts, eg:-
(1) Thai people make film on Thai ghosts.
(2) Malays, Indonesia talk about Pontianak (ghosts).
(3) Caucasians talk about ghosts, spirits, devils, zombie, satan.
(4) Chinese talk about Chinese ghosts etc.

Almost all races and all cultures talk about seeing ghosts or know about the presence of ghosts.

Specifically, all refer to "Hungry Ghosts" that roam the Earth - in Parallel Universe. (Hungry Ghosts are not Hell realm beings as Hell realm beings are often imprisoned in the hell of sufferings - and does not roam around.)

Hungry Ghosts realm belong to a realm of extremely strong attachment to sensual desires, extreme greed - and thus will hover around its object of attachment.

That is why Caucasian describe their ghosts with Caucasian culture, Malay ghosts with Malay culture, Chinese ghosts with Chinese culture, Thai ghosts with Thai culture - because the Hungry Ghosts will manifest - due to strong attachment to the sensual desire objects in which they are familiar with.

If one use a ghost buster effort Caucasian culture) on a Chinese Hungry Ghosts - it will not be effective as Chinese Ghosts cannot associate its culture with a foreign culture. This is the same with other culture hungry ghosts.

But all Hungry Ghosts - regardless of race and culture - has the exact same characteristics of sufferings even though culture are different.

Salvaging Hungry Ghosts from sufferings - are the same.

Why ghosts are called Hungry Ghosts - is because "Hungry" refer to deep attachment to the sensual objects it desires.
