If this initiative is to be a permanent one to tackle this Covid-19 and future epidemic :-

Public Hygiene
(1) Body contacts - eg. Shake hands in social setting may need to change to prevent spreading of virus between people such as clasping both hands as greeting.
(2) Food courts, hawker centre and eateries - more hygiene in food handling, washing of utensils, table cleaing, serving food, handling of cash etc.
(3) Food server - wear a mask when serving food to prevent saliva from dropping onto the food.
(4) Physical cash - exchange hands many times - and become a virus or bacteria spreader. mWallet, credit / debit cards, or food cards - will limit spread of virus - as compare to cash and coins - that pass from one to another and another.
(5) Cleaner - after clearing utensils, wipe with cloth and then disinfect with sanitisers
(6) More frequent cleaning of public toilets with disinfectant, touch points in public amenities eg. lift button, bus and MRT holding or vertical bar or hanging handles, door knobs or handles, escalator hand rest etc.

Personal hygiene
(1) Wash hands with soap before eating any food.
(2) If unwell see doctor and stay at home, wear a mask if need to go outside.
(3) Dispose of mask, used tissues responsibly into a rubbish bin after usage.

Can Covid-19 be defeaed?

China the epi-centre of Covid-19 certainly think so.

For the first time since the outbreak, there were no other new cases in its province of Hubei.
Zhang Boli said almost all regions outside Hubei had managed to halt new infections by the end of last month, according to an interview with the official People's Daily.
He estimated other cities in Hubei will hit such a target by mid-March, based on data on how the outbreak has evolved.

[7:59 PM, 3/6/2020] : Totally and strongly agree ! We have plenty of rules and regulations and laws but where is the enforcement ? Look at our roads. Nowadays you don’t see TP around . What’s happens to all the BMW Expressway patrol ? U only see them during VIP escort , NDP and when accidents happen!

(1) Thought that many highways, road tunnels etc have CCTV deployed, red light traffic camera, road speedster cameras ---- that transmit back live video recording to the LTA and Traffic Police Command and Control Centre in 24/7 monitoring?

(2) Wondeer still need to deploy patrol cars to station in highway to deter and catch speed racers?

(3) Also ERP2 with GPS and sensors can pinpoint errant road law breaker - and traffic police can track and give chase to catch errant law breaker.

[8:18 PM, 3/6/2020] : As a motorist , once you see TP on the road , you will not speed and guai guai follow the rules !!! Have anybody try to horn at any TP or police car when they travel slow on the road ? As for the cameras , most motorists although aware but they always think they will not be so unlucky to be caught .
If u notice at the expressway, most motorists will slow down and keep to the speed limit allow when there are speed camera but once past the speed camera , they will speed up !!!!!

[8:25 PM, 3/6/2020] Ricky Lim:
(1) Singapore lack manpower.
(2) Also TP can't be everywhere to do deterrence.
(3) Nowadays, almost every Ministries, Stat Boards and Organ of State - are using hi-tech gadgets to complement manpower eg. AI, robots, drones, hi-tech devices and gadgets.
(4) Not sure how prevalent is ERP2 being used.
If ERP2 is being well deployed - based on physics - with location-based tech, distance - speed can be computed online realtime --- and there is no way any road speedsters cannot be caught - as their IU and licence plate number are unique.

Richard
[8:34 PM, 3/6/2020] : I beg to differ !
When an incident happens , u suddenly find patrol cars appear from nowhere !
Look at our expressway , it’s common to see  heavy vehicles travelling and speeding on lane 1 and 2 especially at AYE , West coast highway. But if there is a TP /LTA just at the breakdown /emergency lane, u will find all heavy vehicles will keep to the left lane and travel at 50-60 Km !!!!
We don’t need TP all over the highway . Just random and show your presence. It’s make a great difference and road will be safer !!!
