The greatest problem faced by Singapore today is that many mature PMETs - 40 years and above lost their jobs - and have problem of getting themselves re-employed. So far there are no concrete policy to resolve this problem and many unemployed mature PMETs are left to fend for themselves.

There should be a policy to track and ensure the unemployed mature PMETs who are actively looking for jobs to get themselves re-employed. But this is sorely missing.
