The best reaction to insult and mocking - is not to response to the insult and mocking.
Then the insult and mocking will die a natural death.

If one react to the mocking and insult by violence, it is like both sides carry a stick each - and start hitting one another - until both side drop dead.

This is the worst kind of reaction.

Imagine, some cartoons can cause such an uproar - where people even lost their lives, where properties are damage and hatred are invoke - over some drawings and cartoons?

Not worth such reaction.

Cool, calm, restraint, serene, equanimity, patience, tolerance - should be the superior reaction to the mocking and insult.

It look bad on the insulters and look good on the insultees.

With violent reactions, it now look bad on the insulters and look bad on the insultees.

There is a saying :-
八风吹不动。(Whatever the mocking and insult, One remain as serene and calm)
One cartoon 万人动。(But one cartoon, millions get agitated and get violence - which is not wise).
