Interesting to note the following :-
According to a petition put up by angry residents, some said they did not want their children to be exposed to "these kinds of things so young in their lives".

It is a tradition that every Qing Ming, grandfather, father will bring their whole family and kids to the cemetery, columbarium to visit the ancestors - to let the kids undestand filial piety and paying respect to the ancestor - which is part of Confucianism and Buddhist culture of filial piety during Ullambana (盂蘭節) a traditional Buddhist and Taoist festival.

So don't understand the fuss of not exposing young kids about death.
You mean this kids should be kept away from their ancestors' passing away or their ancestors will be an immortal and never die?

The argument cannot stand water.

In this case, these residents cannot let the kids do the following :-
(1) Go to void deck, because sometimes void deck will hold funeral wakes.

(2) Cannot see TV or surf internet - because they will see news about people got shot and die, or people dying through war, air disasters etc.

(3) Cannot live in neighborhood that are made up of people who are not immortal - like the resident who are immortal.

(4) Cannot live near hospital with mortuary, any religious institutions like temples, churches etc that keep urn, cemetery, high rise building that people may jump down, near the sea or at reservoir or near swimming pool where people may get drown, cannot stay near old folks home or hospice etc.
