My ex-colleague, a local Singaporean lady has wrote in to Robert Walters with relevant Banking and Finance managerial experiences. Yet 2 years later, she is NOW still unemployed in Singapore. Is Singapore really so filled to the brim? If so, why are there still so many FTs flooding our tiny nation by the hundreds of thousands?

    Yes agreed with you.
40s & above matured PMETs Singaporeans have great difficulty in finding jobs.

This article does not reflect the actual situation on the ground.

Fair Consideration Framework to help Singaporeans will not have come into play if this article is not flaw as it claimed.

Go to the proper agencies and find for yourself - so many Singaporeans PMETs especially those 40 and above have problem getting themselves re-employed - if this article claim that there are short supply of Singaporean talent.

The actual fact is, many Singaporean PMETs are discriminated against in hiring.

Ricky L, come to my world. i really see and feel the shortness of manpower everyday. don't just spend your precious time in front of your new laptop, new iPhone, or what ever gadgets you have.

Then employers are not looking the right place and the unemployed are looking at the wrong place.
