Chris Dodd, a former US senator and long-time friend of Joe Biden, is expected to relay the US president’s concerns over the security of the Taiwan Strait and his desire for Taipei and Beijing to refrain from taking provocative action, observers said.

Biden message to Taiwan - not to take provocative actions. Good that Biden telling Taiwan to be careful and not push its independence message further and provoke an avoidable war.

No Countries in Asia Pacific want a China-Taiwan war. China-Taiwan issue is an internal affair. They belong to the family matter - and both should settle their dispute peacefully.

1. Any war along the Taiwan Straits and South China Sea - will disrupt the $5 trillion trade sea lane - and cause a devastating damage to the Global Economy - already crippled by the covid pandemic. There is no need for another man-made catastrophe. 

2. And if the China-Taiwan war trigger a larger conflict that draw in other powers --- it could easily explode into a World War 3 - that will end humanity. 

3. Let the 2 sibling states - resolve their differences peacefully - and not deliberately step on each other sore toes by hardening irreversible stance.  

4. Greater Wisdom should prevail to resolve dispute through peaceful means.
