1. Personal Individual cultivation (character and value system) is of vital important - because it influence the makeup of the various communities and the Nation.

  发之内心 :- 的信念。

  朋友满天下，敌人无一个。

  利己，利人。

  互惠，互利。

  互相 了解，包容， 容忍 - 的度量 ---- 是最主要的因素。

(Emitting from the Heart :-

Friends with All. Adversaries with None.

Win-Win outcome with Mutual Benefits.

Ability to emphatise (able to see in your own shoes and the shoes of others), understanding, tolerance, patience) - are the value system to be cultivated in Individual to ensure Multiculturalism will succeed.

- Roles play by Parents, School, Community, Religious Organisation, Enterprise and Government - determine the mindset of individual and how individual behave.

十年树木。百年竖人。

10 years to cultivate a wood.

100 years to cultivate a human.

2. Racial composition and proportion (TFR and Immigrants) since Independence - play an important part in our Multiculturalism.

3. Space and cultural heritage within community - must be allow.

Harmonious interaction across races and different communities - must be fostered.

4. Equal opportunities, meritocracy, value diversity - in school, jobs across various communities - ensure fariness and is vital to secure harmony among communities.

5. External linkage by races to various migrant Countries (provide us good connection, opportunities and relationship for business, trade, investment, travel). This is an advantage of our Multiculturalism that we can leverage upon - that will greatly benefit the Economy of our Country.

- Chinese from China

- Indians from India

- Malays from Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei

- Other races from West and other parts of the World

6. Sharing Economic fruits among the various communities - ensure harmony among communities.

7. Recognise, publicise, document the contribution make by the leaders, figures from various races and communities - in civics books, documentaries, museum, memorials etc. This will raise public awareness about each communities play a vital part in contributing to the well being of our Nation.

8. Emphasize shared common destiny - shared peace and prosperity in a Nation in which the various community belongs.

My close friend suggestions in my another discussion group :-

1. Open doors to Food, festivals, legends practices like taichi, tcm, Chinese arts like calligraphy, Chinese painting, lion dance, dragon dance, chinese martial arts for other ethnic groups to gain more understanding, interest and participation. 

2. Also consider introductory courses to Confucius studies, Chinese history. 

These are secular subjects but a lot of good Chinese values are embedded inside.

3. These are do-able engagements that can be organised by the Chinese Clan Associations.
