Preservation law is passed in Parliament.
If Parliament is not the right forum, then which forum?
If siblings say Court is the right forum, then Court will throw out the case because Preservation law is passed in Parliament and enacted as law.
By challenging the Government for exercising Preservation law on Oxley house in Court, the siblings already lost the case.
So the siblings are just being delinquents.

Court the public will never get all the details because it will be
thrown out by the Court if siblings sue the Government for abusing of
power by exercising Preservation law.
Exercising Preservation law is a government function and a private will will have to concede.
Only in Parliament will all the details surface and debated if the siblings submit their statutory declarations.
The siblings know that they will lose the case in whatever way and thus choose to become a public nuisance by stoking public sentiment, appealing to public sympathy, fooling public emotions through their fb.

Lim, when parliament sits on 3 July, the fact is LHY and LWL won't be
present to give their account. Even SMU Eugene Tan didn't appear
convinced when he was interviewed on TV (he had to choose PM's
side...that's how powerful the PAP machinery is). Body language and
facial expression gave him away.
It will probably be akin to "In the courtyard of chickens the cockroach never wins his case" situation. A Commission of Inquiry should be called by the President, comprising impartial and independent individuals not beholden to any side is the way to go. They decide.

mainstream newspaper and news read not only by the locals but also
overseas --- that have the impact beyond our shores.
The accusations are very serious, bold and may have cross the line of "defaming the Government".

This will have brought down a democratically elected Government - whether intentionally or wilfully.

In other countries, similar attacks have brought down a President in S Korea, and cause Japan ruling party to lose local elections.

Complacency is our greatest enemy not the threat lurking as long as we stay alert and vigilant responding to threat.
Military threat, economic threat, social threat - are not the only threat.
Psychological threat - is the latent, hidden, slow - but can suddenly escalate when conditions are seeded --- and is the most fearful threat - if have taken roots and shape opinion ---- and overnight everyone lives and assets will be threaten.

This is a threat from within - and they carry weight.
