When China seized our Terrex, we do not seized China's asset.
When China seized US underwater drone, US do not seized China's asset.
Why?
Because Singapore and US - both observe International Law --- and instead use lawful means to get back the respective assets.
For eg. do one person go out to seize another person's car - just because one person is unhappy with the other person?

Because the World will watch what China did ----- and what will go through their minds are that --- will China seize their assets as well.
This will certainly not go well for China ---- and in everyone's mind, China is not observing International law and will not hesitate to use force on other Countries.
Wonder how will this make China's international standing higher?

Will China be happy if US point 7,100 nuclear missiles at China - and tell China to comply with US demands?
Using economic might and military might to resolve issues and problems - is an unwholesome dispute resolution method.
Only through consultation, peaceful means in conjunction with international law, Universal Law of Karma --- will be the wholesome dispute resolution mechanism.
Seizing other people's assets to force people to comply - is against Universal Law of Karma - and will reap bad karma.
Eg. "cannot breathe"....

When China start to force smaller Countries with military might and economic might - the karma is, other Big Countries will also use similar means to force it on China.
E.g. US now want to beef up its nuclear arsenal to go beyond 7,100 nuclear missiles on China.
US want to force on China with tariff on trade and make use of Taiwan to force on China.
US want to beef up its forces in South China Sea.
Now how will China feel - if issues and disputes are resolve through military might and economic might - instead of through peaceful means, consultation, collaboration and cooperation through Win-Win outcome?
Thus we are trying to tell China - that unable to use international law, peaceful means to resolve issues and disputes are unwholesome - you reap what you sow.
International Countries will not stand by idly - and will use similar method on China.

So now is Singapore helping China or hurting China?
Singapore is coaxing and charting China --- to upgrade its Heart and Mind - that is of higher moral international standing - so that it befit its stature of true SuperPower - with Kind Heart and Good Mind.
Not when you acquire economic might and emerging a military powe, you turn to be a bully --- and a bully will not last too long.
Eg. the past Nazi and the past Japan zero fighters - who eventually fall after WW2.

Else what is the point of becoming economic power and military power --- when its people :-
(1) Everyday, everyone in China breathe in toxic gas, smog - through use of coal energy - lack business ethics.
(2) Where 40% of food industry use gutter oil and everyone in China is consuming toxic cooking oil, polluted water sources, food safety, dying pig in river - and consuming pig carcass water etc - due to lack of business ethics.
(3) Where China did not win friends all over the World through real Heart and Mind --- but using its money to buy friendship?
Only through Kind Heart and Good Mind - can China truly win Real Friends ---- this is what Singapore is imparting into China after helping China to gain its wealth to become the World No. 2 Economy.
China should thank Singapore and not kidnapped Singapore terrex - because Singapore is China true and real friend.
