Thirty-eight community centres and clubs (CC) that previously suspended distribution of the TraceTogether tokens will reopen today (Jan 18), said an updated advisory posted on the TokenGoWhere website.

💬 As Singapore rolls out its vaccination programme, how can we encourage our community to stay safe and continue using TraceTogether?

TraceTogether tokens are part of the TraceTogether programme to speed up contact tracing and improve its accuracy.

The Smart Nation and Digital Government Office has said that there is no need to collect the token if one is already using the TraceTogether app, or is able to download it.

"TraceTogether-only SafeEntry will be implemented only after everyone has had a chance to collect a token in their constituencies, and a reasonable period of national distribution is achieved”.

Some shops make it inconvenience to scan the token. Got to go-to the cashier to scan.

REACH Portal - Reported 23 fatal case in Norway for 80 years and above with chronic sickness after Pfizer vaccination

(2) 23 die in Norway after receiving Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine, 13 were nursing home patients.

13 of those deaths apparently related to the side effects of the shots, New York Post reported citing the health officals.

All 13 were nursing home patients and at least 80 years old.

Common reactions to the vaccine, including fever and nausea, may have contributed to a fatal outcome in some frail patients.

While officials aren't expressing serious concern, they are adjusting their guidance on who should receive the vaccine.

(3) Will our Government health authority check with Pfizer-BioNTech on the reported cases in Norway and advise the public - should the elderly 80 years and above with chronic sickness be receiving the vaccine jab from Pfizer-BioNTech.

(4) Understand that elderly and those in nursing home are slated for the coming group to be vaccinated - will appreciate if the Authority need to temporary halt those 80 years and above age and health group - while seeking clarifications on the safety of the vaccine on this age and health group.

Norway 23 - 80 years and above with chronic illness passed away after Pfizer-BioNTech vaccination (presumably after 1st shot).

England don't have such problem for those 80 years and above.

Hence, I will like to appeal to our Government to verify the England case and Norway cases - with Pfizer-BioNTech what is going on.

I understand that our 80 years age group and nursing home are slated to come after frontline staff vaccination.

We need to verify the vaccines safety before rolling out to 80 years and above as well as to those in the nursing home.
