Singaporeans should get vaccinated as soon as they are given the chance to do so, urged Education Minister and co-chair of Singapore's Covid-19 multi-ministry task force Lawrence Wong.

He cautioned against waiting for one's preferred vaccine choices and said that there is no way of knowing when one's preferred brand might be available, but gave his assurance that Singapore's vaccines are safe.

πŸ’¬ How can we encourage our community to get vaccinated?

The elderly will start receiving their Covid-19 vaccinations earlier than expected from later this month, as the Government steps up its roll-out of the vaccine, said Education Minister Lawrence Wong.

Another four centres will be ready in February, and more centres will be progressively opened as Singapore expands its vaccination programme, added Mr Gan, who co-chairs the multi-ministry task force tackling Covid-19.

Getting vaccination become a vital defense from worsening pandemic.

Rama

[0:33 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Possibly but probably

Elena

[0:39 pm, 15/01/2021] +: πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

[0:39 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Sounds rational

Nats

[0:41 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Super sensationalised.

Alvin

[0:44 pm, 15/01/2021] +: πŸ“’ Topic

πŸ’¬ How can we encourage our community to get vaccinated?

By having “benefits” after vaccination will “encourage” ppl to get vaccinated.

Eg, no need to scan TT or SafeEntry or allowed to travel abroad etc

Another way is putting a “expiration date” on their vaccination offer eg 1 year after receiving Sms the free vaccination offer will lapse and need to pay for own vaccine after that

[0:45 pm, 15/01/2021] +: My 2.14 cents

Nats

[0:45 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Sooner or later gahmen will have to consider implementing COVID passports (either negative or vaccine)

Rama

[0:46 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Wonder why vaccination cards is not digital!?

Suma Pamu

[0:49 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Just wanted to share

Will All the doses Of Vaccineis free Or

Only the first dose.

I think this is Another Important factor to Inform Public

[1:14 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

1. Those who get vaccinated after 2 doses - means will get protection from covid-19.

Thus able to get back to normal life - to pre-covid stage - when more people get vaccinated.

2. Those who are not getting vaccinated - means a good chance of getting the covid-19.

Such need to maintain social distancing, wear masks, possible to get infected and pass on to love ones.

3. As majority get vaccinated, people can work, socialised and Economy can open up.

4. Those who are not vaccinated still get to wear mask, cannot socialised - as there will be fear that others will infect them.

If majority get vaccinated, those who are not vaccianted (which likely to be the minority) -- will feel isolated and even feel "ostracised".

5. So those who can't get vaccinated like below 16, immuno-allergic, pregnant women - which cannot get vaccinated - as well as those who do not want vaccination - will feel the effects of "isolation".

An fan

[1:17 pm, 15/01/2021] +: How long the vaccines works we do not know yet.

[1:19 pm, 15/01/2021] +: If there  were no virus, those not vaccinated should be left isolated

KS Foong

[1:19 pm, 15/01/2021] +: How To encourage those who are eligible for vaccination to come forward to vaccinate earlier?

Boon

[1:19 pm, 15/01/2021] +: πŸ‘

YT

[1:20 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Even if vaccinated, masks and other safe distancing measures should still be observed! It would be foolish to think it is ok to gather in large groups once vaccinated. Dangerous statements here!

Nats

[1:20 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Hear, hear

Too much of this mentality going round people's brains

Boon

[1:21 pm, 15/01/2021] +: You are right. How would the aged know? Would Resident Committees ensure the communications?

Nats

[1:22 pm, 15/01/2021] +: That's the outreach part, what about old people going "aiya, going to die anyway"? I'm sure we'll encounter lots of elderly with this mindset

[1:24 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

The final stage when government announced removing of masks in conjunction with world development.

Can't be after mass vaccination globally, humans still put on masks until the end of lives?

Spanish flu pandemic will also end and human go without masks.

But covid-19 virus will still be lurking around.

Those not vaccinated will get a chance of getting infected.

Berny

[1:24 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Want to die can, but dont pull their future generations and/or friends into the graves with them

[1:24 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Thats what I used to tell the older folks

[1:26 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

Eg. Those who refused measles, chicken pox vaccination will get the measles and chicken pox  even though majority get vaccinated and achieve herd immunity.

Boon

[1:27 pm, 15/01/2021] +: After the outreach, and they know about the vaccination, it would become a matter of choice.

YT

[1:32 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Even after the pandemic dies down, people should continue to wear masks when in crowded places. Over these past few months, because of mask wearing, the incidents of flu, and other illnesses have dropped significantly. It is a good practice and should be encouraged and if need be, legislated. Think about the lost productivity if one is out due to flu because some inconsiderate person sneezes or coughs in a crowded train or bus?

CQ

[1:33 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Agree! Vaccinated doesn't mean all caution goes to the wind

Nats

[1:33 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Yea I don't get the stupid logic of vaccinated = no need mask anymore

Overlapping measures need to come together

[1:35 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

You mean when covid ends - government got to legislate and make every one wear mask including overseas travellers?

Fulgrim

[1:36 pm, 15/01/2021] +: I think the elephant in the room really is to ensure the safety of the vaccine

jimmy chew

[1:36 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Just curious, how you know flu is down ? πŸ‘

Fulgrim

[1:36 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Since they are various types now and the efficacy seems to be very variable

[1:37 pm, 15/01/2021] +: The trace together incident also makes it harder for pple to trust what the government says now

Nats

[1:37 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Yea the end will not be so obvious, so we should continue the current measures as much as we can

Not many people are complaining about the wearing of masks, are they?

CQ

[1:37 pm, 15/01/2021] +: The last study I read seems to indicate that vaccinated doesn't mean you don't get infected. It's still possible to get infected, just that your risk of experiencing severe symptoms is greatly reduced and the virus shed is lower. But you can still kena and you can still be a vector.

Fulgrim

[1:38 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Yah, one nurse In the us tested positive after she was vaccinated

[1:38 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

I did not say flu is down.

I am only asking so we expect government including global government to legislate wearing masks worldwide after the covid pandemic ends.

Nats

[1:38 pm, 15/01/2021] +: He did not refer to you LMAO

Fulgrim

[1:38 pm, 15/01/2021] +: US nurse tests positive over a week after receiving first dose of Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine

https://www.straitstimes.com/world/united-states/california-nurse-tests-positive-over-a-week-after-receiving-pfizer-covid-19

[1:39 pm, 15/01/2021] +: From Reuters one. Don’t say I spread fake news

[1:39 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Bottom line

[1:39 pm, 15/01/2021] +: The vaccine was very rushed

[1:39 pm, 15/01/2021] +: So clinical info is still scanty

[1:39 pm, 15/01/2021] +: And our government has a history of tweaking the narrative to push their agenda ( for better or worse )

Fulgrim

[1:40 pm, 15/01/2021] +: And since this affects health, I think the biggest concern now is safety and efficacy

Ken

[1:40 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Vaccine is not full proof, hence mask still need to be on with the vaccine taken.

Fulgrim

[1:40 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Just asking us to inject and tell us cannot choose vaccine doesn’t assure us a single bit

[1:40 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Cannot just say “ just trust us “ can Liao hor

Ken

[1:41 pm, 15/01/2021] +: With vaccine and mask on, the chance for a major outbreak will drastically reduced

Fulgrim

[1:41 pm, 15/01/2021] +: This one is affecting health one

[1:41 pm, 15/01/2021] +: I know where they are coming from in regards to control the epidemic

Nats

[1:41 pm, 15/01/2021] +: For far too long have people relied on the government blindly, as I preached before so it's of course time to use our brains to think for ourselves

Fulgrim

[1:41 pm, 15/01/2021] +: But I think sacrifice for the greater good has its limits also

[1:41 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Gagahahaha

[1:41 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Yes !!!!!!

Ken

[1:41 pm, 15/01/2021] +: In the end we don’t want to over tax on our medical system. So that they can treat more serious case of disease.

Fulgrim

[1:41 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Democracy functions best when the citizens think !!

[1:42 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Like for me

Fulgrim

[1:42 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Don’t trust the media on their vaccine reporting now

[1:42 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Zzzzzzz

CQ

[1:42 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Yep. If want to jab, of course we want the ones with highest efficacy. 50.4% is barely pass. Some unis won't even confer a degree if this is your average percentage...

Fulgrim

[1:43 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Latest news on that is that Brazil uses a different definition for infection

[1:43 pm, 15/01/2021] +: So even mild symptoms after vaccination is co sideted as positive

[1:43 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Hence leading to Lower efficacy

[1:43 pm, 15/01/2021] +: The us studies did not classify mild symptoms as positive

[1:44 pm, 15/01/2021] +: That’s why looking at the clinical study is impt

[1:44 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Lots of China bashing also going around

Ken

[1:44 pm, 15/01/2021] +: 🀷🏻‍♂️ media control is to prevent panic mah..

Don’t want to see people stock up again for pandemic also. We here also to discuss issues and voice our concern.

For me if no need I will wait awhile to take up the vaccine too.

Fulgrim

[1:44 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Though I do trust us standard more

[1:44 pm, 15/01/2021] +: It’s a slippery slope also

[1:44 pm, 15/01/2021] +: When a little white lie slowly becomes deliberate malicious deception

Ken

[1:44 pm, 15/01/2021] +: We are super low on freedom of press not that we don’t know

[1:45 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Lolololo

[1:47 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Lord shamugam gives me the jail first and trial later type of vibe. Like very hardline

[1:47 pm, 15/01/2021] +: I find it funny why he never collect vivi when he first mentioned that TT is only used for COVID and not crime

Ken

[1:48 pm, 15/01/2021] +: But we have high freedom in internet just have curate what you think is credible news outlet and make your judgment yourself. Media is control but internet is not mah.. (err but I don’t really know how much so just assume it is high freedom)

Fulgrim

[1:48 pm, 15/01/2021] +: It’s unlikely all forget

[1:48 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Yah I know

[1:48 pm, 15/01/2021] +: It’s like the us

[1:48 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Democracy is only as strong as the citizens

[1:48 pm, 15/01/2021] +: So the best way is to ensure the citizens are educated and can think for themselves

[1:48 pm, 15/01/2021] +: No better insurance

[1:48 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Against tyranny and manipulation

[1:49 pm, 15/01/2021] +: I think I better stop before Megan throws the book at me. Lol

Ken

[1:49 pm, 15/01/2021] +: 🀣🀣

[1:49 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

Just to make my statement clear:-

1. Try to get majority vaccinated.

2. Wear masks until covid pandemic ends - announce by government in conjunction with world development for eg. where WHO declare covid pandemic over and can unmask.

3. Unmasks for those who are vaccinated - when confirm vaccines work (like measles, polio, chicken pox etc).

4. Those not vaccinated continue to wear masks until vaccinated?

[1:50 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

So there are no incentive not to get vaccinated - for those eligible to be vaccinated.

This is the crux of my message.

Fulgrim

[1:51 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Agreed but just a tweak

[1:51 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Vaccinated ones will undergo the same masking and Tracing as everyone else

[1:51 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Vaccinations are not foolproof

[1:51 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Better to not take Ang chances

[1:51 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Kaisu for the win !!!!

Alvin

[1:52 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Wow that’s grim news

Fulgrim

[1:52 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Not really lah

[1:52 pm, 15/01/2021] +: It’s expected

[1:52 pm, 15/01/2021] +: There is never hundred percent in vaccinations one

[1:52 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Now need to see what’s the percentage

[1:52 pm, 15/01/2021] +: There is always genetic variability among humans

[1:53 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

You mean when covid pandemic over - you expect government to legislate wearing masks for residents in Singapore and overseas travellers - when the whole world unmask?

[1:53 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

This is extreme paranoid.

Ken

[1:53 pm, 15/01/2021] +: This is news and click bait mah...

Reporting part truth and get high news worth. But what is the percentage never say 🀷🏻‍♂️

Fulgrim

[1:53 pm, 15/01/2021] +: I mean now lah.  Your point 3 says that those who are vaccinated no need wear mask during pandemic

Nats

[1:53 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Can we stop this unmask agenda? Use your brains.

[1:53 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

A mental health issue.

Fulgrim

[1:54 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Sadly, that is where media is headed now

[1:54 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Pple want bite sized news nuggets

[1:54 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Not full page editorials like last time where you can actaully set the background and context clearly

Ken

[1:54 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Little effort high worth... they just a money making machine no choice

[1:55 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

Point 3 after pandemic is over - not during pandemic.

Fulgrim

[1:55 pm, 15/01/2021] +: After pandemic I think all no need wear Liao

Ken

[1:55 pm, 15/01/2021] +: As people attention span drops in internet age, they just following trend

Fulgrim

[1:55 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Vaccinated or not

[1:55 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

Agree.

Same thinking.

Fulgrim

[1:55 pm, 15/01/2021] +: That’s why Twitter is now becoming a news outlet

[1:56 pm, 15/01/2021] +: It should be the last place u look for news

Nats

[1:56 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Idk much about journalism but I'm sure I can ask my gf (since people got close friend, bff and what not I play gf lor)

The number of news outlets she goes to just to use as reference when writing articles, imagine!

[1:56 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

Except those not vaccinated can get covid-19 infection if there are still virus lurking.

They are not protected.

Nats

[1:57 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Twitter is more like an actual news news outlet lol cuz people literally just say what happens at wherever, no need for MSM or aggregated media outlets

Fulgrim

[1:57 pm, 15/01/2021] +: That’s the problem, it’s almost entirely opinions and no editorial checking

[1:57 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Not to say MSM is much better but at least someone facts check

[1:58 pm, 15/01/2021] +: And u can throw the book at them if they screw up big time

Nats

[1:58 pm, 15/01/2021] +: You can't expect Twitter to play the same trump card they used against Trump lol

Fulgrim

[1:58 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Lol

[1:58 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Double pins

[1:58 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Puns

[1:58 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Many in the us are now conflicted that the MAGA club has control over free speech and media

[1:58 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Sorry

[1:58 pm, 15/01/2021] +: I meant FAANG

Nats

[1:59 pm, 15/01/2021] +: What's free speech if someone controls it? Lmao that defeats the purpose of "free"

Fulgrim

[1:59 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Exactly

[1:59 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Worse still if controlled by a corporation

Nats

[2:00 pm, 15/01/2021] +: A corrupt corporation that doesn't cooperate

Let me hear it: THREE PUNS! πŸ˜†

Ken

[2:00 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Lol you mean trump getting ban issue

Merkel say ban trump is against freedom of speech 🀣

Nats

[2:00 pm, 15/01/2021] +: No ah the trump card then is reference to the ban

Ken

[2:00 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Which is true.. but no choice lol the government likely to be involved 🀣🀣

YT

[2:01 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Calling for puns?

Nats

[2:02 pm, 15/01/2021] +: I think Merkel doesn't know she's in... murky waters

Nats

[2:17 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Irrelevant lehh

Thomas

[2:21 pm, 15/01/2021] +: πŸ˜‚πŸ‘

Rama

[2:24 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Heart of gold!?

Ben

[2:28 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Vaccination is not Immunity, so we still have to take precautions. Vaccination significantly reduces the chance of serious symptoms if you become infected. Vaccination is safe, and does you no harm compared to falling ill with Covid. Vaccination also helps prevent spread of the disease (not 100% but significantly).

[2:28 pm, 15/01/2021] +: I'd be interested to know why someone wouldn't take the vaccine?

Ken

[2:31 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Not totally true... there is slight risk, and for people with serious allergy are higher risk.

[2:32 pm, 15/01/2021] +: And due to the short time it takes to develop.. I myself have doubts, are we that advance now to develop something so fast?

So no harm wait and see... and the rest of the world like be vaccinated much much later due to the supply and availability.

[2:33 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Even if taken, we can’t go anywhere yet.. so many won’t rush, unless is front line workers

Rama

[2:36 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Dammed if we do, dammed if we don't!?πŸ˜¨πŸ˜±πŸ˜ŸπŸ˜žπŸ˜”πŸ€·‍♀️

Ken

[2:37 pm, 15/01/2021] +: 🀷🏻‍♂️ unless compulsory, if not unlikely it will adopt fast, since there is no big benefit in getting it early πŸ˜…

Rama

[2:37 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Agree

CQ

[2:38 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Yah, me. I'm not rushing. Anyway I'd be all the way at the back of the queue in terms of priority anyway

Ken

[2:39 pm, 15/01/2021] +: I won’t be surprise if it become compulsory...

Other than Lawrence Wong say those not vaccinated will do more testing... not really convinced

[2:40 pm, 15/01/2021] +: I read that the protection likely is about 3 months or longer. What happens after that? Need another jab? How does one know when the protection runs out? Does it vary from person to person?

Ken

[2:40 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Or they drop medishield coverage then yes.. you see the push to vaccinated

Ben

[2:40 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Correct, people with severe allergy are advised not to take it, so therefore won't be at risk.

Ken

[2:40 pm, 15/01/2021] +: No way to tell unless check your antigens...

[2:41 pm, 15/01/2021] +: How we test for Hep B to get booster jab same logic

Ben

[2:41 pm, 15/01/2021] +: There is some harm in wait and see. We cannot open our country....

Ken

[2:42 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Take also cannot open up... πŸ˜… don’t think too much

[2:42 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Quarantine measures will still be in place as rest of the world are still at risk

[2:43 pm, 15/01/2021] +: With high vaccinated rate we can be a role model for other countries to follow πŸ˜…

Ben

[2:43 pm, 15/01/2021] +: We can travel if we want to, so that's not entirely correct. I'm choosing to not travel because I haven't been vaccinated. My mother lives in France and is due to be vaccinated in Feb. I won't go and see her until I'm vaccinated, because like I said before, vaccination is not immunity and I'd like to reduce the risks as much as possible for both her and myself.

Ken

[2:43 pm, 15/01/2021] +: And see if it works

Ben

[2:44 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Not really, there risk of Covid is far worse than the risk from the Vaccine, in general. We are not damned if we take it, we are damned if we don't.

Bobby Tan

[2:44 pm, 15/01/2021] +: I believe now is the best time to take the vaccine as we are not go anywhere. Maybe MOH should advise whether in future is the vaccine a yearly affairs, two yearly affairs? Or like chicken pot, only need to take once in life time.

Rama

[2:45 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Cost beyond two jabs!?

Ben

[2:45 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Depends what you mean by early. Q3 is August-Sept time. Doesn't feel 'early' to me!

[2:46 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Exactly - these are questions we have. I don't worry about the vaccine, so 3 months is better than no protection at all! I do agree we need more info.

Ken

[2:46 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Many diseases are different, it is not easy to develop life time immunity vaccine is totally depend on the characteristic of the virus πŸ˜…

Ben

[2:47 pm, 15/01/2021] +: You might be surprised how few country have quarantine measures. That's why this thing spread so fast and continues to do so.

Ken

[2:47 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Lol how to.. no money to test or capability to do such measure not surprised

Ben

[2:47 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Yes, this might be like flu' and be needed annually.

CQ

[2:49 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Meaning that by the time we're done with the current round, it may be time to start all over again??

Ken

[2:49 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Likely... πŸ˜…

[2:50 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Anyway there is already so many variants already.. no one test on all we also won’t know till enough of us vaccinated to take it to the test

[2:50 pm, 15/01/2021] +: πŸ˜†

Not working is like asking them to die without food

[2:52 pm, 15/01/2021] +: We are lucky that we are rich enough to able to have free vaccine and medical support

Johnson want herd immunity mah 🀣

Ben

[2:56 pm, 15/01/2021] +: So we can travel to the UK if we want. No restrictions. I just wouldn't go without a vaccination first, and even then I'd be super careful.

YT

[3:01 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Hospitals and Healthcare system overwhelmed. People with simple easy to fix ailments can't get treatment because the hospitals are jusy with covid cases.

Ben

[3:02 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Some countries are very irresponsible and are not helping at all. This is a global problem and we all need to do our bit. Getting vaccinated is part of the solution and we should embrace it. If there are concerns then yes people should not be forced. The Gov needs to give full disclosure and share what knowledge they have. Be open about what we don't know.

[3:02 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Yes, it is very troubling. People being sent hundreds of kilometres away just to find available beds.

[3:30 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

A simple logic for me:-

1. The longer we wait for vaccination - the chances of contracting covid-19 is there.

2. So when the roster to vaccinate come out, I will register together with my family to get vaccinated - to have a peace of mind we are protected.

Community cases are still lurking.

I think we can press moderna for an answer as we are also engaging moderna.

[4:14 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Chance of death from Covid is 3% (ok almost zero in Singapore, but still way higher than death from Vaccine!)

Vice President Kamala, Dr Fauzi also vaccinated with moderna vaccines.

They didn't experience side effects as what we are witnessing in this video.

Moderna got to investigate and give an explanation why this lady got such symptoms.

[4:53 pm, 15/01/2021] +: i always tot after the first jab the chance of catching the virus is high right?

[4:53 pm, 15/01/2021] +: the key thing is to get antigen after the second jab

[4:56 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

Need 2 jabs and wait about 2 months for anti-bodies to develop to be effective.

Even after 2nd jabs - still need to wait 14 days - according to medical experts.

[4:58 pm, 15/01/2021] +: yes this

[4:58 pm, 15/01/2021] +: so it will take around 1 month to be fully developed antibodies

[4:58 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

USA predominantly use moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines.

Millions have been vaccinated without serious side effects.

Strange that the lady in the video is shaking.

Thus moderna need to robustly pursue to find out why that lady is shaking after taking the moderna vaccine jab.

[5:01 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

About 2 months for 2 jabs.

1st jab - 14 days to develop 50% anti-bodies.

21 days for 2nd jab.

Another 14 days for 2nd jab to develop 95% efficacy.

So is 21 days + 14 days = 35 days.

Anne

[5:14 pm, 15/01/2021] +: I will not encourage anyone to get jabbed, but I will not tell a person to never get jabbed either. Whether a person chooses to vaccinate or not is his choice.

When I share information, it is because I believe in informed consent.

The G tells us, anything you don’t understand, ask our “local expert”, or doctor. The problem I have with this is: it is highly unlikely that you can have all the information you need from your doctor. Remember the protest signed by thousands of doctors relating to the issue of providing information on all side effects of treatments prescribed? Doctors spend only around 5 - 10 min per patient, and within these 5 - 10 min you expect the doctor to tell you everything you need to know about side effects?

Then we have the media - mainstream and independent. The media is biased, whichever side they come from, that’s why I read all sorts of news. When the media is biased, they tell you a coin has only one side. The mainstream media will tell you that the coin has only one head without telling you that the coin also has a tail. The independent media will highlight the tail without mentioning the head. So I try to see both sides of the coin - the head and the tail. In this case, our mainstream media has decided to “educate” us that the Covid 19 vaccines are safe. So meaning if there are deaths or permanent injuries we may not be hearing about them at all.

A family member of mine has gone through serious illness caused by allopathic medicine. The side effect was caused by a combination of a cocktail of designer drugs she had been taking for years. So what this means is a drug may be ‘safe’ for short term use, but long term continuous use may cause very bad side effects. For Covid 19 vaccines the information that I never saw discussed was the repeated use of such vaccines. Flu vaccines need to be jabbed once every year. For Covid 19 vaccines, probably the same, maybe even once every 6 months. Can we know whether these vaccines continue to be ‘safe’ after years of repeated jabbing? Also, when a person or his family member or his friend got harmed by medical treatment, the ‘science’ and statistics may no longer mean anything to them. The way they view allopathic medicine is likely to be different from those who never had a serious negative experience before. So when you share the same information to different people, some will make one decision, others will make another decision.

The media has “educated” us that mRNA vaccines do not cause our DNA to be altered, and they stop at that - this is completely missing the big picture. Let’s assume the media is right. The problem is even if the DNA is not altered, our cells are altered. Now think of cancer. For many cases, the cancer cells do not appear out of the blue in the patient’s body one fine day. Usually such cells take years - many many years - to develop, and these cancer cells evolve from healthy cells. So, if the vaccine changes our cells, are there risks? Just think of cancer.

So why do I share such negative information and analysis? It is not to persuade anybody not to jab - it is about informed consent. Unfortunately many people think I am asking people not to jab, and that is not true. Before taking the step, we should weigh the risks against supposed benefits - I do not see any benefits based on the numbers data in the clinical trials but I may be wrong.

So, I will not encourage or discourage anyone to vaccinate. Think about this - you tell your friend to jab, and he gets a serious injury, you will get blamed for it, despite the rarity of this injury. If you tell your friend not to jab, and he gets Covid 19, he will also blame you for it, despite the fact that you can still get the disease after vaccination. People have a habit of blaming others when things go wrong instead of taking responsibility for their own actions. That’s why I only share information, and to people who are open and are willing to listen. I will stop the information sharing the moment i sense rudeness or the other party is not interested. I spent years reading up on natural medicine and vaccines (I admit I’m still not an expert and I make mistakes) and I refuse to waste time on people who do not respect what I share. Nowadays I am also very busy so my time is precious. To conclude, I will do is this: share information, do our best to share both sides of the coin, and let the other party make the decision without forcing or insulting them.

Ben

[5:14 pm, 15/01/2021] +: No. The vaccination doesn't give you the virus to prompt anti-bodies. There is no additional susceptibility to the virus.

[5:26 pm, 15/01/2021] +: But some pple say , why we get the Pfizer vaccine first in Asia is because we agree to provide the clinical data to Pfizer so they let us get it first

[5:26 pm, 15/01/2021] +: We are sort of a phase 3 clinical trial for them

[5:27 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Japan and the others still have not adopted it widespread cause they are still undecided on the efficacy

[6:04 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Just offering these as comment by medical professionals and experts rather than person-on-the-street opinion.

[6:08 pm, 15/01/2021] +: and here's an example of a misleading article about rushed vaccines, after it's been fact-checked: https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2020/dec/09/blog-posting/alternative-health-website-spreads-false-claim-abo/

[6:10 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Please remember vaccines usually take years because there isn't so much urgency. They are incredibly expensive to produce so the ROI has to be calculated. Rightly or wrongly, COVID vaccine was fast tracked because of the high death rate, high contagious nature and global impact on economies. Fast tracking just mean putting more people into the research, it is incredibly unlikely (I'd say impossible!) there is some sort of hidden effect we won't know about for 5 years.

[6:11 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

Wonder will opinion change about procastinating the vaccinations - when suddenly community cases shoot up due to the more contagious mutant strains --- like our neighbors and elsewhere in the World.

Will suddenly panic strike and rush to vaccinate happens - if everyone procastinate until the end of mass vaccination.

[6:15 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

When there are no pressure and no fear of infection, many will want to wait.

When suddenly, things spread and get out of control - every one panic.

I explain this to my family members and extended family members.

My family members support my opinion - and will register to vaccinate once roster.

The allergic injury programme is in place and covered by the government should anything happen.

Life got so much uncertainty - when time is right to do a leap of faith - I told them just do it.

Fulgrim

[6:19 pm, 15/01/2021] +: No one saying there are hidden intentions

[6:20 pm, 15/01/2021] +: It’s just that side effects of new drugs are unknown and time and clinical trials are needed to test and catch any unforeseen side effects

[6:20 pm, 15/01/2021] +: I m sure the drug companies try to anticipate and cover as much eventualities as possible but the human body is complex and diverse

[6:20 pm, 15/01/2021] +: It’s hard to model for everything using a computer

[6:20 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

One good way is for the government to end the free vaccines by end Dec 2021.

Then people can decide whether to get the vaccines early.

Fulgrim

[6:21 pm, 15/01/2021] +: I don’t agree with any coercions

[6:21 pm, 15/01/2021] +: It’s essentially forcing pple

[6:22 pm, 15/01/2021] +: It’s should be voluntary

[6:23 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

Not forcing people.

But incentives offer for those who vaccinate by end of this year.

Incentives end after this year. People need to pay for their vaccination.

[6:26 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

Because vaccination centres cannot be setup perpetually - just waiting for people to change their mind whether want to vaccinate or not.

Ben

[6:45 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Agreed

[6:46 pm, 15/01/2021] +: Yes, but there have been millions of humans who have taken it,so not just using a computer.

[6:46 pm, 15/01/2021] +: It's likely it won't be free indefintely. The -70c vaccination  is expensive to store

[6:47 pm, 15/01/2021] +: It's not a coercion to end free vaccination, its an economic reality.

[6:48 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

Agree.

The longer people wait, the higher chance people don't have the mRNA vaccines.

Then those who wait will get the inactivated vaccines.

[6:48 pm, 15/01/2021] ☸️  Danny εΏƒ:

With lower efficacy rate.
