As U.S. and China find common ground on North Korea, is Russia the wild card?

By James Pearson and Alexei Chernyshev
Russia will be the wild card in N Korea crisis - the simple fact is Russia do share a small border with N Korea and have some trade with N Korea.
Thus to contain and stop N Korea ambition for nuclear and ICBMs, US will have to reach out to Russia like how it reach out to China - to contain N Korea.
For economic sanction to be successful, both China and Russia need to buy in.
And at the worst scenario where surgical strike on N Korea nuclear and missile sites, both buy in from China and Russia will be crucial.
It is vital to know that both China and Russia - do not want N Korea to be a nuclear state - because it will threaten China and Russia security and safety.
Buy in from China and Russia - will not be insurmountable if US play it right.
