The top priorities for Singaporeans - are jobs.
The future skill policy is good.
But after training, a job is not guaranteed is not good enough.
Train-and-placement is a better option - whereby when people out-of-job go for training, upon completion of the course, they are placed into a job.
Then this will be a good outcome - so that unemployed people will not spend time and money to get themselves trained - but after training, they still can't find a job.
Thus tying up business and enterprises to Train-and-placement scheme - is the best chance to get unemployed Singaporeans employed - whether for fresh graduates, older PMETs or older blue collar workers.
