I think there are quite a number of good innovative products out there.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) issued a consultation paper with proposals to simplify the authorisation process and regulatory framework for venture capital (VC) managers on Wednesday (Feb 15).
Currently, VC managers are subject to the same regulatory framework as other fund managers. However, MAS said at a briefing that differences between VC managers and fund managers make some rules less relevant.

Simplifying VC regulations will help to provide fundings to help to push and facilitate R&D products to be marketed and commercialise as well as build firms to carry the R&D products.
Other ways to source for fundings are :-
- online crowdfunding - to solicit international fundings for good potential innovative products or firms.
Also to market the products - one way to reach out to World market, International market is to tap Digital Economy, online apps, mobile apps, online shopping etc.
This will help to overcome our small domestic market - by reaching out to the World, so that innovative products can reach out to the large World Market out there - and quickly commercialise the innovative products to a large commercial base.
