This framework of dialogue between the 2 militaries is necessary - so that there is an avenue to de-escalate in the event an miscalculation happen - which is very likely.

I doubt a full-blown war will happen.

But skirmishes may happen if tension rises - as what is happening around the region does not support de-escalation.

The only way to prevent a full-blown confrontation - is to continue to engage, continue to have dialogue, continue to foster ties at all levels, continue to integrate economically, socially, militarily, legally etc.

Progress by learning from one another not only in material well-beings, but also mental well-beings mutually.
