As a seasoned telco engineer , I can honestly tell you there is no way Xiaomi can "capture " what you communicated in the Xiaomi phone. Only the telco operator can capture your communication information . However many communication tools like WhatsApp encrypted all information . So either this report is rubbish, or the Lithuania governor hypocrisy

@Jianqiang G. All xiaomi phone have connection to xiaomi cloud. If xiaomi want to do it, it can. But this article say apps censor or block the taboo subjects is not true. Because I can search and read those article and no apps in the hp or xiaomi cloud block or remove those article from my phone.
@Jianqiang G. 1. Firewall and content filtering need not be done by local telco operators. 2. It can be done by phone manufacturer, because as long as the hp connect to the internet via the 4g or 5g, it will be connected to the phone manufacturer cloud - and can download patches, apps, updates, block or remove any content that are downloaded to the hp through content filtering - if it want to.
