Yes. There must be a resolve to solve the Ukraine war - because if the conflict is extended, it will one day escalate and will lead to a wider conflict - that will engulf the Europe and Russia - essentially pitting NATO against Russia.

The unfolding of events - to and fro - may suddenly turn very ugly one day - and cannot turn back but instead draw the 2 blocs into an open confrontation.
