By expanding the air, land and sea transport within ASEAN, it will help to expand and facilitate trade, business, travel and investment within ASEAN.

By integrating ASEAN to China via Belt-Road initiative, it will further improve trade, business, travel and investment between ASEAN and China.

And by integrating ASEAN to EU, it will further boost business and growth between Asia Pacific and the West.

This will help to compensate and cushion the impact of the US protectionist and isolationist stance in trade, business and investment.

This will be more than compensate the loss in US cancellation of :-
(1) TPP - with more trade within ASEAN, China, EU and Asia Pacific
(2) TTIP between EU and US - as EU can have more trade with ASEAN, China and Asia Pacific.

The biggest loser is US ......
