How to explain the following :-
(1) 2011 when AHTEC town council where $39 million have been handed over, now why AHTEC after only 4 years go into a few million dollars deficit?

(2) Why did AHTEC and Punggol East town council with surplus absorb Hougang town council who are in deficit?

Where did our money goes?

How can use the Aljunied and Punggol East town council money to subsidise the loss in Hougang Town council - and squander away $39 million within 4 years - and now the 3 town councils now in million dollars of deficit?

So is it the strategy of the Opposition to win another town council and then use this surplus to subsidise the loss of AHTEC, hougang and punggol east ---- and go into deeper debt and deeper deficit?

If they win all the GRCs and SMCs, the whole country will be in deficit and all our CPF will be used up to overpay their managing agent! That is a more legitimate concern we should have than accusing our present good PAP government of hoarding the funds although that has good intention! Haha

Town council is a public fund.
It is the blood and sweat money entrusted to the town council to look after our estate.

Why our blood and sweat money being - so badly mismanaged and go into such huge loss?

How to account for the public money where the town council is so care - less in wasting away the money in just 4 years?

Yes the estate is quite well maintained and is prompt to service the estate -- - but residents have to pay $39 million more surplus to get this service.

We have been greatly overcharged.

Many town councils incur deficits and receive govt grants. Aljunied GRC under George Yeo had received generous grant before WP took over.
Ricky L should perhaps reveal how much George Yeo received and why MND withheld the grants when the ward is run by WP.

So you mean it is alright to throw away $39 million in just 4 years and then beg the Government (public money) for more funds - to further squander away?

Is that the Opposition's mode of operandi and thinking?

Then in no time, the whole Singapore finance will be bankrupt.

How to entrust the public funds to such opposition party to such thinking?

The elitist PAP will do their best to discredit the WP regarding AHPETC. They are desperate to win more votes and they know their strongest rival is the WP. So one way to win more votes is to paint a very bad image of the WP's credibility to run a town council. They will also attack the integrity on the WP in the hope of showing to Singaporeans that they are not capable of governing the country.

  If you mismanaged, admit you mismanaged - and stop making excuses.
  
  You make such a huge loss in such a short time - and yet you find excuses and deny you mismanaged.
  
  How to entrust you with public fund - when you care less about residents' money - and yet want to win more to cover your lossess?
  
  Where is your sense of responsibilities?
  
  Stop accusing others for your woes ---- you must be honest and brave to admit that if you have mismanaged, say so you mismanaged and not find excuses.

  Even managers from the corporate, SMEs can manage their finance and business properly and answerable and accountable to their shareholders.
  
  But in AHTEC, you are not adopting a positive attitude to the residents who are entrusting you to handle the residents' funds.
  
  Your attitudes is one of denial, shifting blame - and you are not answering how you squander away $39 million within 4 years.
  
  And yet now here you are treating residents like fools and jeering at the residents who demand an answer.
  
  You are really pissing off many angry residents in Aljunied.
