As a politician and custody of public fund, WP must treat residents money like their own - and not squander away the money - a whopping $39 million surplus entrusted to the town council.

Now such a big amount is lost - and can WP just simply say "We are above law. The money is lost - but we did not commit any offense.

Too bad for the residents. It is your problem since the resident elect us.

We can do what we want.".

Is this a responsible MPs entrusted to look after the public fund? the resident fund?

It is irresponsible to shirk the responsibilities - and simply tell residents - too bad, the money is lost, we commit no crime. It is the resident's problem since you elect us.

Are we voting for estate managers ??? PAP MPs keep "selling" amenities for votes ! We must vote in alternative voices to ensure all policies are debated fully and NOT a the whimp of ONE person !

  If WP's pitfalls are so easily forgiven and they win more GRCs and mismanaged all of them - and the deficit become bigger and bigger ------- are we going to forgive them again?
  
  Who will finance all the big deficit?
  
  Are taxpayers going to pay more tax to finance the big deficit due to mismanagement?

General Election is a report card on how the MPs perform :-
(1) In running the town council - where residents entrust their money and estate management to the MPs
(2) Performance in Parliament - to debate policies that affect the resident's lives.

WP fail miserably in the 1st very basic duty ----- did not safeguard the resident's money of $39 million surplus and make big loss in just 1 term - 4 years.

Now WP is talking about winning more GRCs --- when they cannot even handle Aljunied GRC well.

Is this a responsible WP?
