Perfect. PM Lee had me at "We set aside more than $1 billion. We placed multiple bets, to sign advance purchase agreements". This is the epitome of kiasuism and I'm proud of that. I think MOH will release more details next year when vaccines become widely available for the public. Current plans seem well organized and our senior leaders stepping up to take the vaccine to show to our elderly that vaccines are safe is how I envision leaders to lead from the front. As for the vaccine being free for citizens, really applaud the gov to make this decision. Although it's voluntary, Singaporeans can't pass up anything that's free. So we should see many being vaccinated towards end of next year.

Singapore will launch a new segregated travel lane aimed at business travellers on short-term stays, Minister for Trade and Industry Chan Chun Sing announced on Tuesday (Dec 15).
The travel lane,or the Connect@Singapore initiative, will be open to a “limited number” of business, official and high economic value travellers from all countries who are staying in Singapore for up to 14 days, said the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) in a separate press release.
Applications for the segregated travel lane will open in the middle of January 2021, and Singapore can expect the first travellers to arrive from the second half of January, it added.

1. We have finally come to the last stretch of the covid-19 pandemic - a tragedy of mammoth proportion.
2. A vaccine strategy to defeat the virus pandemic.
3. This final stretch will still last for about a year until 3Q 2021 - if things go well smoothly.
4. For this last final stretch, we will still have to go on with masks, social distancing - as the population get vaccinated progressively.
5. Hopefully, the vaccines prove its efficacy and safety - and defeat the covid-19 as it design to be.
6. And hopefully, humanity get back to normal lives - albeit pre-covid state prevail - and our economy and world economy recovers, business are revive and jobs recreated.

1) I presume that there is no Phase 4 after Phase 3. Afterall, when most ppl are vaccinated and we can resume all activities.
2) Is there any indicator (eg. 75% of population vaccinated) before we can resume our activities.

Sixteen new COVID-19 cases were reported in Singapore as of noon on Tuesday (Dec 15), said the Ministry of Health (MOH) in its daily preliminary update.
One case was reported in a foreign workers’ dormitory.
The remaining 15 cases were imported and all were placed on stay-home notice or isolated upon their arrival in Singapore, said MOH.
Details of the new cases will be released on Tuesday night, it said.
