The adoption of the TraceTogether app and tokens stand at more than 60 per cent, getting closer to the 70 per cent target required to move to Phase 3.
๐ฌ How can we encourage fellow citizens to download the TraceTogether app or collect the TraceTogether token?
The Smart Nation and Digital Government Group (SNDGG) is engaging the public face-to-face by having Smart Nation Ambassadors stationed at TraceTogether education booths in shopping malls all over Singapore.
At these roadshows, the ambassadors help members of the public set up the app, run them through the registration process and its features. They also help troubleshoot for those who have technical issues.
There is also a Group Check-in feature which members of the public can use to add their family members. They can use this when checking in to a location together, which would help ease queues at the entrance of public spaces.

The sudden appearance of local cases after 2 weeks of zero "reported" cases obviously means the virus is hanging around, whether dormant, in asymptomatic people, or on any number of surfaces, etc.
So how did the lady at SICC get infected? I never follow up in any news.
And what happens when people are tested negative then positive then negative again, on cruises.
At least the number is small. Personal hygiene and habits are still the most basic thing to observe.
Interestingly, my wife has always been a bit of a clean freak, my kids hardly fall ill. But it also means likely their immunity benefits less from exposure to common bugs.
My nephews who have always had sniffles and frequent illness, at least have not been falling sick as much as pre-covid.
Can say habits, masking up and overall hygiene have improved a lot this year.

1. There's no financial incentives to hack a Bluetooth token as there are no sensitive user bank credentials to be stolen.
2. Apps stored in the token is encrypted. Even if hack and stolen is not useful to the hackers.

Five new COVID-19 cases were reported in Singapore as of noon on Monday (Dec 14), said the Ministry of Health (MOH) in its daily preliminary update.
No new cases were found in the community and in foreign workers' dormitories.
All five cases were imported and placed on stay-home notice upon their arrival in Singapore.
Details of the new cases will be released on Monday night, said the health ministry.

But as more vaccines are authorised, study will be made to determine which vaccines are more suitable to which group of people with different health conditions.

COVID-19 vaccination strategy - it’s awesome our G has made it voluntary as some of us have concerns on safety. Truly thankful to our G for being so understanding. We need to continually watch other countries (as well as our own) for serious side effects to fine tune the population segment each vaccine is suitable and not suitable for.

One of my Roman Catholic friends told me she would never take such vaccines (although she did take the MMR vaccine as a child). However, I noticed that the Vatican City has ordered Pfizer which uses cell lines from an aborted foetus for its employees and families living there. So, Roman Catholics and other pro lifers should decide what to do based on their morals and belief systems.

The opening of the second phase of the Thomson-East Coast MRT line has been further delayed and is now expected to open in the third quarter of next year, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) said on Monday (Dec 14).
The six stations comprising the second phase of the line - stretching from Springleaf to Caldecott - were originally scheduled to open by end-2020. This was rescheduled to the first quarter of 2021 due to delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and measures to contain the outbreak.
