Neither US nor China can put each other down, says Singapore’s PM Lee

1. Why should US and China engage in confrontation? As confrontation is bound to invoke negative responses from either sides - and both will lose.

2. Both US and China should not engage in destructive competition but should engage in constructive collaboration and positie competition - which will bring more positive outcome that benefit both and the World.

3. Neither will win in a Win-Lose engagement - because the losing side will fight back.

4. Both will gain in a Win-Win engagement - because no one will want to disrupt a Win-Win formula.

5. Then why choose confrontation - knowing that both will bring about a Lose-Lose outcome when both engage in a Win-Lose entanglement?
