In Singapore, electing a good Government is extremely important - because we are facing 3 critical milestone :-
(a) Leadership transition from 3GL (Generation Leader) old guard to 4GL new guard.
(b) Singapore and the World is facing a deep crisis - virus pandemic that threaten the population lives.
(c) Singapore and the World is facing a deep Economic crisis - that mirror the 1930 Deep Depression.
Electing a strong Government become extremely important - to ensure that a strong team can charter Singapore out of the crisis from a deep storm into calmer water.
As such, the following must be taken into serious considerations when voters cast their votes come Polling Day on 10 Jul 2020.
(1) If the unlikely scenarios of voting Oppositions that overthrow the ruling Government, Singaporeans cannot expect civil service to govern the Government with inexperience politicians in the Parliament.
A good example is how Trump ignore or override his civil servants policies or even change or swap out competent civil servants that contradict his ideas.
As a result, US lose its global leadership within 4 years that US rein supreme and US political, social and economy are now in a doldrum.
2. Life, jobs, Economy and our 4 Generation Leadership are at stake for Singapore.
This is a crisis that are so severe - that will override any opposition justification of needs for check and balance and alternative voice.
Oppostion can do both check and balance and alternative voice as NCMP - and need not be an elected MPs.
3. Singapore cannot be govern by too many diverse parties that have divest self interest that will pull policy planning and implementation in different directions - and make policy making extremely difficult.
Just look at Pakatan Harapan - where coalition parties with divest self-interest - pull the Government apart - and cause the Government to rise and fall, rise and fall.
If Singapore follow the examples of Pakatan Harapan politics (with so many splinter political parties) -- Singapore future will be dead!
4. Once we go into a wrong direction - it will be very difficult for Singapore to come back on track. Eg trump lose world leadership within 4 years. Malaysia splinter group got no dorminant party - and the whole governance fall apart with so many splinter group.
5. More oppositions more criticisms, less work done.
Less brains in the Ministers team to resolve problems.
Oppositions only ask questions and hamper the momentum --- like take 1 step forward, but 2 step back.

(2) Oppositions have no clue to negotiate trade, investment, create jobs etc --- do you think they can create good value jobs for you?
(3) Oppositions have no clue to R&D and negotiate with foreign medical producers to get vaccines, treatment, drugs --- do you think they can save your lives from covid-19?
I think if voters vote in many oppositions --- Singapore will be dead !
