Going for a Win-Win outcome is still the best outcome.

Not one side win all and the other side lose all.

Win-Win outcome may involve compromise - one win some and lose some, the other win some and lose some ---- -but overall result is the biggest win - where future cooperation and friendship bring about more trade, more amicable diplomacy, more investment, more travel etc.
