[8/6/2026 10:01 am] REACH Singapore: 📢 Topic📢

The authorities have ordered social media platforms to block access to 14 online posts that target the Indian community, such as by suggesting that Singapore was being overrun by Indians.

Investigations showed that the content most likely originated from a platform based in China and was subsequently carried on other platforms and websites, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said in a statement on June 6.

💬What are your views on MHA’s response to the posts? How should we address attempts that seek to undermine Singapore’s racial harmony?

📌 Firm stance against the posts

Speaking to reporters at Siglap South Community Centre on June 6, Law Minister Edwin Tong said there is no evidence at present to suggest that these posts were part of a coordinated campaign by any government.

"These videos attack our multiracial society and they try to divide people based on race. This, however, is not who we are. Every community in Singapore here is valued and everyone has an equal place," said Mr Tong.

"These videos strike at the very foundation of what makes Singapore home for all of us and they undermine the very basis of our society."

Mr Tong said the government does not tolerate any narratives that seek to undermine Singapore's racial harmony, "especially when it is propagated by foreigners".

Mr Tong, who is also Second Minister for Home Affairs, said investigations show the content was “likely generated organically by various foreign netizens”.

“I would say any country seeking to safeguard its social cohesion would agree with us that such content is unacceptable and would take a similar stance to safeguard their own society,” he added.

📌 MHA’s Assessment

MHA said that it assessed, together with the Singapore Police Force, that the posts are likely to constitute an offence under Section 298A of the Penal Code – for knowingly promoting feelings of enmity, hatred or ill-will between different groups on grounds of race, or committing an act prejudicial to the maintenance of harmony between different racial groups in Singapore.

The police have issued disabling directions under the Online Criminal Harms Act for the content on YouTube, Facebook and X, which requires the platforms to take all reasonable steps to disable access by Singapore users to these posts.

The ministry said it had also observed deliberate efforts to spread more such content in Singapore.

“These are malicious efforts to sow discord by inciting ill-will against the Indian community in Singapore,” it said.

“This includes Indian migrant workers in sectors such as construction who are here to make an honest living. They contribute to Singapore’s growth and development, and are valued members of our society.”

The Government takes a serious view of threats to Singapore’s social cohesion and racial harmony, including from external actors, and will act resolutely against them, it added.

“We urge Singaporeans to be discerning when consuming and disseminating information online, and to reject all attempts to divide our society,” MHA said.

[8/6/2026 10:08 am] LCL (Danny 心):

1. There are some red lines that cannot be cross for Singapore - racial and religious diversity and harmony.

2. Singapore experience a very bloody lessons in the 1960s over racial riot.

3. UK just suffer another riot outbreak between white and the Sikh.

4. We need to take a swift and decisive actions on foreigners videos that break the social fabric of our society.

[8/6/2026 10:29 am] Adam: Yes there are lies on the internet, but has the government created an environment that makes these sentiments easy to fester?

If all residents know its a load of bull, then there really is an issue. But somehow people have emotions brewing. Many would keep it hidden but display it if was under anonymity too. This is a real threat to society because we do not want to address it.

It not uncommon for singaporeans, and residents of chinese descent to never have a minority friend.

Some are even able to live their lives in singapore without having to learn english, or communicate with minorities. There is also a huge rise in foreigners you meet if you start work too for many industries.

It is only natural that these sentiments breed when the economy is tough. When there is cultural friction. Is going after some people online like a whack a mole a good strategy. You will only bottle up discontent, primed for it to blow.

The government needs to understand and address the root cause of discontent, and we will be immune to all online lies.

[8/6/2026 10:35 am] Adam: Another thing is there is a growing distrust of government info. We keep seeing data being massaged. Government hiding info the public wants. Government acting not in the best interest of citizens but of corporations.

So if the gov dont talk to you effectively who do you go? Speculation rises. You talk to your friend. Anonymous people online can fill the gaps.

[8/6/2026 10:44 am] Adam: Btw even if we raise all singaporeans to be model harmonious citizens, a huge chunk of our population are not singaporean. Many 'singaporeans' are not raised in singapore too. Unless we have some programme that promotes racial harmony for all residents, even the many that dont live here but cross the border daily, these sentiments we always be a threat.

[8/6/2026 11:10 am] 365: Is it the right approach? Politically yes. Is it an effective approach? Debatable. Hypercompetitiveness and high stressors will likely push people towards this end, even if it may not be right.

[8/6/2026 11:21 am] LCL (Danny 心):

https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSQ69xBff/

TikTok videos still have many such videos.

Still not blocked.

[8/6/2026 11:22 am] Adam: Is it impossible to block every video

[8/6/2026 11:23 am] Adam: Even if you block singapore specific ones, anti foreigner sentiment, especially anti indian ones are on the rise worldwide

[8/6/2026 11:24 am] Adam: Many singaporeans consume american media, american social commentary

[8/6/2026 11:25 am] Adam: Americans too use european anti foreigner sentiment to embolden their own. Can see the rise of reform Britain in the UK and its supporters in america

[8/6/2026 11:27 am] Adam: Whats to stop residents here to draw parallels between whats happening to america and europe and japan, to whats going on here?

[8/6/2026 11:28 am] Adam: Is the govt gonna pofma trump if he starts another anti alien thing and local residents quote retweet him asking why arent we doing it here?

[8/6/2026 11:34 am] 365: Hegseth also declared "America's enemy is Islam, regardless of whether they are Sunni or Shia". Essentially grouping all Muslims together as enemies. And this is the guy we interacted with in our shangri la dialogue for peace.

Of course the government won't condemn him for strategic reasons, pushing it as foreign affairs we shouldn't be involved with. But when such mentality are allowed to fester without condemnation, it is logical to conclude a spillover sentiment will occur.

The government seems to like to have their cake and eat it, but unfortunately it doesn't work that way.

Proposed deployment of nuclear reactors for Singapore

REACH Portal - Nuclear Reactors deployment

21 May 2026

After careful study and exhaustive scouring through various AI information on nuclear reactor, SMR, fission, fusion, and if they are hit by bombs - the danger of radiation, I feel that the following infrastructure deployment for either SMR nuclear reactor - fission or fusion will be the safest for Singapore - being a small city state with little margin of errors as safety is paramount for Singaporeans and residents.

SMR nuclear reactors should be deployed in:-

1. Offshore islands preferable to meet the emergency radius of 1.6 km safety distance for SMR nuclear fission reactors (be it gas-cool, thorium-molten salt or uranium pellets).

2. Underground - organized in a honeycomb design - modularized, isolated - per comb, per nuclear reactor. Pse see diagram for reference.

So that if there is radioactive leakage - it is confined to that particular comb.

3. The offshore islands provide a buffer safety distance of 1.6 km - and in the event of leakage, the buffer distance will help in reaction time.

4. As gas-cool are using kernel plus multi-layer cladding to ensure nuclear fission to occur within protected kernel while allowing heat to generate electricity - leakage of radiation will be prevented.

Hence accident or leakages are very rare - in which deploying gas cool nuclear reactors underground will be safe due to the multi layer cladding protection from leakage or normal accident.

The need to rely on seawater as coolants and dilution - will rarely be needed - and hence need not be located on surface areas near the sea.

5. As modular honeycomb design per reactor are used, any leakage in one reactor will not affect the rest.

Also in underground, leakages will not harm population through radiation by air or sea.

6. However if offshore islands are not feasible - eg. Not sufficient underground space, underground soil too soft and not feasible for underground structure to house the nuclear reactors to be arranged in the honeycomb design - then alternative choice is to deploy in mainland underground or underneath Jurong island that have a larger surface area and harder underground soil.

7. I feel that offshore + underground deployment for nuclear reactors will allay the safety considerations concerning radiation leakage, terrorism or missiles attack in the event of war.

[8/6/2026 12:27 pm] G: It is too lazy and convenient to conflate nationality with race.

There has indeed been mass immigration in SG.

The only entity that can gatekeep this is the govt. Their policies directly impact (much more negatively than positively) the social cohesion and fabric in SG. They need to take a long hard look at themselves and take on more responsibility for their actions and policies and stop trying to blame foreign influences

[8/6/2026 12:36 pm] Adam: People are targetting nationality instead of race because its is more 'politically correct'. Same for anti muslim too, its easier to criticise a religion or culture than a race.

[8/6/2026 12:37 pm] Adam: However defending bad actors by lumping them with good ones is not doing anyone favors. If indian foreigners are not distinguished from indian locals, both will be lumped together by bad apples

[8/6/2026 12:44 pm] Adam: Also it is all too lazy to label people as racist or xenophobes too. If we push more and more of our peers away, they will find communities online or among each other that share common ideas.

Right now people are afraid of being labeled racists, but can see online the discourse is changing. Imagine the day where if you call someone racist for their ideas and they agree with you. And they will openly advocate for race priority policies and vote for a government that will act in line with their beliefs.

[8/6/2026 12:49 pm] G: Let's do one better and distinguish between those that are born in SG and those that migrated here and/or become naturalised.

It is also good to stop using the "Singapore resident" label and properly distinguish between citizens, PRs, and work pass holders (i.e. WP, SP, EP)

[8/6/2026 12:55 pm] G: Referring to this?

https://www.channelnewsasia.com/world/stabbed-student-handcuffed-uk-police-6157071

This is a direct result of woke-ism and woke racist policies that prejudice according to skin colour (i.e. when a non-white accuses a white of racism, the accusation is initially assumed to be correct even without evidence)

[8/6/2026 1:00 pm] Daniel: My opinion on the initial topic (government blocking the video) is that it is quite concerning that such content seems to be produced by foreign actors to produce division. That alone is quite worrying, independently of sentiments amongst the different racial and cultural groups locally. I think it's good that the government is stepping in here and also publishing that such things happen, so that we can be aware.

[8/6/2026 1:16 pm] G: The way I see it, the videos were initially uploaded on social media platforms that Singaporeans generally don't use, in a language that is not Singaporean's first language (i.e. XHS). It is very clear who the target audience are (big hint: not those born in Singapore)

If the govt don't allow mass immigration of this target audience, why will the videos be a problem? This is since those born in Singapore already understand the importance of racial harmony, whether through painful lived experience or thru formal MOE education

"These videos strike at the very foundation of what makes Singapore home for all of us and they undermine the very basis of our society." They are striking those who do no understand the importance of racial harmony; migrants who did not live thru the experience nor thru years of formal MOE education

[8/6/2026 1:22 pm] Daniel: I think this is not entirely true, I do know a fair amount of younger Singaporeans born and raised here that do use a lot of Chinese language social media content. So I don't think saying those who went through MOE schools are immune to this kind of content is safe to do. (We tend to underestimate how easily we are manipulated, thinking this will only happen to other people)

[8/6/2026 1:22 pm] Jun Ming: Eh ask the tik tok CEO do something. Claim to be Singaporean but never remove false info of Singapore

[8/6/2026 1:23 pm] Jun Ming: What a disappointment

[8/6/2026 1:25 pm] Jun Ming: And gov why there isn't pofma directory to platforms

[8/6/2026 1:29 pm] Jun Ming: As Singaporean we know Chinese is the majority. So this is a baseless videos. But this is degratory against indian which suggest their smell and oudur that cause a bad imagine of the community

[8/6/2026 1:31 pm] Jun Ming: So internally it hurts the Indian community while externally it give bad impression to the international community. While genuine Singaporean will know it's fake news lah

[8/6/2026 1:32 pm] Jun Ming: That serve him right to be misunderstood as Chinese national in the us.

[8/6/2026 1:35 pm] Jun Ming: Is it only 14 post? And is blocking is enough? Why not let those platform post the facts

[8/6/2026 1:57 pm] G: No one saying immune to this type of content, rather whether they understand the importance of racial harmony in SG.

And yes, people also underestimate how easily we are being manipulated by PAP narratives 😏

[8/6/2026 1:59 pm] G: "Fair amount of younger Singaporeans.." by saying this, you are actually agreeing to my statement that Singaporeans generally don't use chinese language social media

[8/6/2026 2:01 pm] REACH Singapore: 📢 Topic📢

[8/6/2026 2:02 pm] G: Are these from SAP schools? SAP schools are also a result of PAP govt policies to set apart schools with Chinese roots, and having more China emphasis

[8/6/2026 2:02 pm] Adam: It only takes a small amount to sow discord in our community. We can expel foreign influencers and deport them or restrict entry to people as even one is a threat. What do we do if local singaporean is sharing home grown sentiments?

[8/6/2026 2:03 pm] G: PAP will call you xenophobic 😂

[8/6/2026 2:03 pm] Adam: They have to monitor the situation first

[8/6/2026 2:07 pm] Adam: But yeah thats an issue i raised earlier. What if the xenophobic label gains acceptance? They will say "so what if you call me that? My position wont change."

[8/6/2026 2:10 pm] Adam: Can you really change hearts and minds of 'racists' by denouncing and censoring them?

[8/6/2026 2:11 pm] G: Well, then consider the opposite: Anyhowly allowing mass immigration.

This adversely affects social cohesion, adversely affects social compact, cheapens citizenship.

As citizens, why should allowing mass immigration be allowed?

[8/6/2026 2:13 pm] G: First need to accurately differentiate between being racist, and wanting to safeguard Singapore's borders

It's too easy, convenient, and lazy to label those who want to safeguard Singapore's borders as "racists" / "xenophobes" etc

[8/6/2026 2:16 pm] G: Can a Chinese Singaporean who is alarmed by mass immigration from China be called racist?

Should a non-Chinese Singaporean who is alarmed by mass immigration from China be called racist?

Can an Indian Singaporean who is alarmed by mass immigration from India be called racist?

Should a non-Indian Singaporean who is alarmed by mass immigration from India be called racist?

[8/6/2026 2:17 pm] G: Should be Singaporeans who are alarmed by mass immigration be called xenophobic?

[8/6/2026 2:17 pm] Adam: Peak irony how we want to restrict population and immigration in this way now. Singapore foundation is immigration and displacing local population for economic gains

[8/6/2026 2:17 pm] Adam: We seperate from malaysia as they want their native pop to have their benefits

[8/6/2026 2:18 pm] G: Easy to conflate and twist..

Singapore as a colony was formed by immigration and displacing local population

Singapore as a nation was formed by those already here

[8/6/2026 2:18 pm] Adam: And singapore of 2026 is formed by those who are not here

[8/6/2026 2:19 pm] G: What then does citizenship really mean?

[8/6/2026 2:19 pm] Adam: Hdb built by people who will not live in it. Children raised by maids from abroad

[8/6/2026 2:19 pm] G: Citizenship had no meaning pre-independance.. It was an aspiration

Citizenship only existed post independance

[8/6/2026 2:20 pm] G: Pre-independence, people in SG were subjects of the British crown, and for a very short time, Malaysian citizens, NOT Singapore citizens

[8/6/2026 2:21 pm] Adam: Thats a deep philosophical question.

but tbh, im lazy and will define it and its policies by whatever will benefit me the most right now. We will vote restrict immigration like how hdb owners vote to maintain their nest egg

[8/6/2026 2:24 pm] Joomua Tng: there is a limit to what it can do to blocked such sites or media...the toxic will eventually leaks in through other means.

counter media measure from top down or down up from indivial emergence is important.

the best resources is from tertiary university, poly and ite.

may also include jc or pre u.

........

bring out the topic in class. guided debate , discussion, what lesson learnt from it, what solution they can comr out with

individual inself initiative attempt to generate social media, video to counter such propaganda against Singapore, to destabilize Singapore.

bind total defense into it.

what is total defense. it is TOTAL.

NOT limited to the list defined by mindef.

birthrate is TOTAL DEFENCE.

individual who has hobble or interest in creating social media is total defense, encourage them to use their talents to create counter propaganda video and post online. (who knows, thing like this can also opens up expolyment, entrepreneur, business opportunities in the future)

........

it is the exchanges of blows. cannot always defend by blocking websites.

.....

open up discussion about race and religion.

sensitive as it may, if it is not open and corrected...people will eventually go to online sources or other sources and be indoctrinated will idea that is toxic to Singapore and Singaporeans.

(that's the partial reason of why there are self radicalized individual. even in Singapore.)

The traditional way and definition of total defense has to be broaden.

 especially in technologically advance era.

.........

[8/6/2026 2:44 pm] G: Why should relevant govt agencies get inundated by participants who spam AI generated content?

Isn't that a waste of public resources?

[8/6/2026 2:47 pm] G: REACH Telegram Chat Group

We invite you share your views on national policies. Our chat group will be open for feedback when the opportunity arises for us to discuss hot-button issues and national policies.

https://www.reach.gov.sg/

It's "share your views", not "share AI generated views"

[8/6/2026 2:50 pm] Joomua Tng: the ai.. helped to "organise my view.." i did not ask the ai to generate automatic.

i go through it reading and listening to what the ai has help "orgainise and tidy up"  when it is deem in  to be in line with what I initially wrote

[8/6/2026 2:51 pm] Jun Ming: Don't give like one whole chunk. To me it's hard to read. And I pretty sure officers would also have a hard time reading it

[8/6/2026 2:52 pm] Joomua Tng: those media that is spreading online maybe organized from malicious agency  and i believe a portion is from individuals. activists.

[8/6/2026 2:52 pm] Joomua Tng: noted

[8/6/2026 2:52 pm] G: 3 key roles:

1. Gauge and understand ground sentiments

We are here to listen to what Singaporeans have to say, understand their sentiments and highlight key issues of concern to the Singapore Government, ensuring that their voices are heard and considered in policy-making processes.

https://www.reach.gov.sg/who-we-are/our-mission/

@reachsg2 What safeguards are there in your telegram platforms to ensure AI generated content copy and pasted by participants are not used and considered in policy-making processes?

[8/6/2026 2:52 pm] G: Let REACH do their job to "organise your view" instead of you asking AI to do it

[8/6/2026 2:53 pm] Joomua Tng: i have to see if it is properly organise first with assistance from ai.

then let reach decide the point raised.

[8/6/2026 2:57 pm] G: No la. We already pay tax and part of it is for REACH to function. Please let our tax dollars work 😂 Don't give them free lunch

[8/6/2026 2:59 pm] Adam: You sure they getting free lunch? Maybe they already got laid off and we are paying tax for another chatgpt subscription

[8/6/2026 2:59 pm] Joomua Tng: you missing the point

ai. help to reframe what i wrote in broken english in english easily understood. at the same time tidying up the points  in logical manner

[8/6/2026 2:59 pm] Jun Ming: But ya let's go back to the topic.

I have seen many of such videos and I found them redundant and question marks by these Chinese media. There's definitely a lot more of such videos on tik tok.

I not sure if gov would want to put more regulation or keep a eye on TikTok as most of such Chinese videos come from TikTok

[8/6/2026 3:00 pm] G: That should also be part of REACH's job 😏

And no one say cannot use other national language

[8/6/2026 3:01 pm] Jun Ming: And I found TIKTOK have quite a few brain rot videos. Last time they have those sexual suggestive live stream, but now I don't see them often which is a good thing. But more can be improve

[8/6/2026 3:01 pm] G: At the rate this govt is going, and since they have a history of banning foreign legacy media in SG, might as well ban tiktok 😂

[8/6/2026 3:02 pm] Adam: It is impossible to block these online media

[8/6/2026 3:02 pm] Adam: Singapore is already split as you can all see

[8/6/2026 3:02 pm] G: Can. China has done it. FB is banned in china

[8/6/2026 3:03 pm] G: So many social media platforms are banned in china

[8/6/2026 3:03 pm] Jun Ming: I mean not to ban TikTok as a whole but make sure TikTok have their own check mechanism

[8/6/2026 3:03 pm] Jun Ming: If not bo bian but to ban

[8/6/2026 3:03 pm] Adam: If like that then ban all chinese social media? Everyone talk in english only? Thats the only way china superiority people will intermingle with minorities

[8/6/2026 3:04 pm] G: It's like asking straits times / cna to ensure 100% truthful transparent reporting 😂 won't happen one

[8/6/2026 3:04 pm] Adam: We are living in a society divided. Separate social media. Separate eating of food.

[8/6/2026 3:06 pm] Jun Ming: Maybe regulated by law every social media need to have a team of local moderator to decide which videos to take down. So more job opportunities will be created

[8/6/2026 3:06 pm] Adam: Seriously impossible one

[8/6/2026 3:06 pm] G: Shortlived.. Will be replaced by AI very fast 😏

[8/6/2026 3:06 pm] Adam: If not tiktok it will be whatsapp.

[8/6/2026 3:06 pm] Joomua Tng: ai is my extended body, mind, voice and language. i use whatever means that exist to achieve the objective. sending my message across.

[8/6/2026 3:08 pm] Jun Ming: Or maybe we have a bunch of local influencer to tackle back such shitty video

[8/6/2026 3:08 pm] Jun Ming: You know these are good opportunity for content creator to quarrel

[8/6/2026 3:09 pm] Joomua Tng: Singapore is already infected by toxic idea, NUS is one infected victims with its undergraduate support palestine issue which is part of global terrorism, jihad.

[8/6/2026 3:09 pm] G: Then they are just an extension of MSM

[8/6/2026 3:09 pm] Adam: Cant simply do that. People will say they are 'paid off', things are astroturfed

[8/6/2026 3:10 pm] Adam: People will still remain in their isolated chat groups that spout their own things and block detractors

[8/6/2026 3:11 pm] Joomua Tng: university undergraduate are the future of Singapore and maybe humanity.

if they cannot even think critically then Singapore is doom, sooner or later.

[8/6/2026 3:11 pm] Jun Ming: Well they use ai to submit essay

[8/6/2026 3:12 pm] Jun Ming: Prof use ai to mark essay

[8/6/2026 3:12 pm] Adam: Why uni? Many singaporean dont go local uni. And the elites, the ones ruling our country are often educated overseas.

[8/6/2026 3:13 pm] Jun Ming: That's why Harvard say grade inflation.

[8/6/2026 3:13 pm] Adam: And the student will send ai resume to ai hr to do job that is mainly prompting ai

[8/6/2026 3:14 pm] Joomua Tng: in general, if the educated, highly educated, cannot think critically, what you think the probability of those less educated able to think critically?

[8/6/2026 3:15 pm] Jun Ming: I went to a boot camp and they teach us how to use ai to do resume

[8/6/2026 3:16 pm] Adam: And yet the ite grad has an equal vote as nus grad. Not to imply ite people are uneducated or disrespect their path in life.

Future of singapore is all, not just uni people

[8/6/2026 3:16 pm] Joomua Tng: Communist Mao, and ISIS, caliphate keeping the population mostly uneducated with zero critical think so that they can be manipulate ...to become cannon fodder. for decades. hope of peace talk is a decoy used by hamas

just like what is happening to the Palestinians trapped and used as propaganda material and cannon fodder.

Afghanistan ban women and girls from education.etc

[8/6/2026 3:17 pm] Jun Ming: I feel like ai is being misuse greatly. Instead of a tool to help you analyse data it became a tool for shortcut

[8/6/2026 3:18 pm] Joomua Tng: it is heavily on uni people...in today's media and technology age.

though occasionally there are a rare few who are exceptional outside of this group

[8/6/2026 3:26 pm] REACH Singapore: Dear Contributors,

Please be reminded to keep to the topic that is being discussed.

We have had good feedback from this group, and we hope that we can keep the discussion robust and active!

Thank you.

[8/6/2026 3:43 pm] G: Perhaps these posts are a result of LHL's comments on his recent visit to Shanghai? 😏

“We are a Chinese-majority country, but we are a multiracial society. We are a separate country with separate sovereignty from China. We cooperate as friends and in order to have mutual benefit,” he told the media on the final day of a five-day visit.

https://www.straitstimes.com/asia/spore-china-ties-based-on-mutual-benefit-with-opportunities-in-ai-ageing-sm-lee

Knowing how the worldview of some china chinese are, perhaps of them were slighted by his comments and started their posts

[8/6/2026 3:44 pm] G: Can this be categorically refuted / addressed by MFA?

It will contribute towards protecting our sovereignty

[8/6/2026 3:48 pm] G: Perhaps the slighted chinaman be like "How can you LHL say such things?! You are the SM leh! You are also chinese! How can you say we have different interests! Must be because of those many indians you have in your country!"

Then after that they triggered, cannot take it, make some posts on indians in SG to "teach him a lesson"

Isn't such a scenario described above possible?

[8/6/2026 3:50 pm] G: If those posts were indeed because of a scenario similar to above, can it then be  categorised as foreign interference and have the MFA call china out on it?

[8/6/2026 4:08 pm] REACH Singapore: 📢 Topic📢

[8/6/2026 4:16 pm] Jun Ming: Erm don't think so. These post have been already there for months before he goes to china

[8/6/2026 4:17 pm] Jun Ming: Gov Intelligence fail

[8/6/2026 4:18 pm] G: 👍 Or perhaps only after he gave his comments, then some of these videos were ported over to social media platforms that Singaporeans generally use?

[8/6/2026 5:02 pm] Khai Mun L.: when i first read that news, was wondering which social media platform it was originally from. tiktok or wechat, or some lesser known platform?

how would our agencies penalize or order these platforms if they have no physical offices in singapore or if they refuse to comply?

[8/6/2026 5:09 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

TikTok HQ in One Raffles quay

WeChat in Anson road, international plaza.

[8/6/2026 5:11 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

Xiaohongsu Singapore office in 1 George Street.

[8/6/2026 5:12 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

Many China social media platform have an office in Singapore.

A jumping board to international market.

[8/6/2026 5:17 pm] Khai Mun L.: there are many hardcore nationalists on these platforms, how feasible is it to POMFA them?

especially when some influencers there are subtly supported by their governments

[8/6/2026 5:17 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

These social media platform will have some propaganda video either done by AI creators or some Chinese netizens - who will make media sometimes unfavorable to our national interest.

Among them are :-

1. Our stand to forgive Japan and not descend into military confrontation.

2. Our national multiracial diversity and culture.

3. Our seaports hub.

Etc.

[8/6/2026 5:18 pm] LCL (Danny 心): Yes.

Some are hardcore propagandists.

I personally take them on - on various topics that are malicious to our national interest.

[8/6/2026 5:19 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

Because some Singaporeans are sway by their views and turn against our national interest.

[8/6/2026 5:22 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

Eg.

明心自问 - 中国和日本的纷争

https://babe118.blogspot.com/2025/11/blog-post_27.html

台湾是中国的大包袱, 绊脚石,大枷锁,也是战乱的祸根 (小智慧,大道理)

Taiwan is China's big baggage, tripping stone, shackles and root cause to war

 https://babe118.blogspot.com/2025/11/taiwan-is-chinas-big-baggage-and-root.html

[8/6/2026 5:27 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

This Chinese videos against our Indian community - our government acted very fast when it appears.

Because this hit directly to the very core of our unity and our national security.

That has the propensity to turn our community into social unrest.

[8/6/2026 5:31 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

Eg.

Elon musk some comments in his social media x - incite the anger of UK white population - and turn into violence almost overnight.

[8/6/2026 5:31 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

Starmer accuses Musk of trying to whip up division over Henry Nowak murder https://share.google/kguKr7tcbwCWdv3FR

[8/6/2026 5:32 pm] Khai Mun L.: my thoughts is that 'news' is their revenge on us for making the HK principal to lose his job

[8/6/2026 5:33 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

Hmm ...

Not sure about this.

[8/6/2026 5:35 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

But Chinese netizens have 2 groups.

1. Who always sing praise of our system and governance.

2. 2nd group can be malicious against us especially if our official stands differ from theirs.

But this group can be easily tackle - because most of the time, their logic and rationale are always not on sound footing.

With good arguments, the logic of their videos fall apart.

[8/6/2026 5:38 pm] Jun Ming: Don't think so. These videos exist way before hk principal case happens

[8/6/2026 5:39 pm] Jun Ming: Base on my memories these video already there for months

[8/6/2026 5:41 pm] Jun Ming: I not sure what's the context of these video popping out

[8/6/2026 5:45 pm] Jun Ming: But these videos are baseless. As people staying in Singapore will know the number of indian ethnic group remain low

[8/6/2026 5:46 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

Don't know the trigger point.

But certainly against the way they see things as they are nationalist.

They cannot appreciate our multi culture, multi racial society.

[8/6/2026 5:48 pm] G: Posting on X on Tuesday, Musk wrote: "Send the video to everyone you know showing how heinously Nowak was treated by the police in his dying moments and how the police cravenly kowtowed to his murderer.

"Legacy mainstream media, same ones who wrote about George Floyd millions of times, are dead silent about Nowak."

He said: "We need to also assert who we are as a country, because Musk, again, has been interfering in our politics in the last few days, trying to whip up division – that is not who we are in Britain.

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c1e2ww900zno

But then again, starmer and his party have been the ones whipping up division with their wokeism and woke policies 😂

[8/6/2026 5:50 pm] Jun Ming: I think Chinese just want to target Indians in general. They look down on indian

[8/6/2026 5:50 pm] G: Police force in Henry Nowak case went on diversity course ‘that controlled and pressured’ them to adopt certain ideas

https://www.lbc.co.uk/article/hampshire-police-diversity-training-pressured-woke-henry-nowak-5Hjdb7B_2/

[8/6/2026 5:53 pm] Jun Ming: Maybe some Chinese visitor visit little india on Deepavali and is dismay by the number of indian

[8/6/2026 6:02 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

I don't know the trigger point.

Don't want to make a wrong guess.

[8/6/2026 6:05 pm] Jun Ming: Anyway if any of such things happen we need to give our rebuttal response for the very least

[8/6/2026 6:11 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

I think our government did.

Our people in general is supportive of our government stands.

So their malicious videos cannot break up our society unlike some countries.

That's why we must know the implications and consequences of such things happening around us.

We must be careful not to be made use of to become someone else pawn, or vassal - and as a result cause destruction to our society and people's well beings.

[8/6/2026 6:12 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

Most important, don't let foreigners exploit our personal grievances and do things that harm our very own country.

[8/6/2026 6:32 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

Singapore is strong, peaceful, diversity in strength - precisely we value inclusiveness, leverage on one another's strength in the various communities, culture and help one another with kindness and compassion and generosity.

It is these wholesome values - make us a wholesome Country and hence we are bless and bestow with good fortune, peace and stability through our competency, kindness and wholesome values.

In spiritual terms, we reap the good karma.

Thus we must never let foreigners destroy our fortune, peace and stability with their values that doesn't meet our high benchmark.

[8/6/2026 6:37 pm] LCL (Danny 心):

Hence we must always be the lamp upon the globe of darkness. 指路明灯。

And we must never lower our standard of humanity - to reap our good collective karma.
