Dead Indian guru in freezer for 'deep meditation'

In Samadhi Jhana, a body is unlikely to last more than 1 week - without water and food. 
Otherwise it will turn into a body sariras even then though his mental level is still in Samadhi.

In other words, human hibernation is unlike animal hibernation like snakes or other mammals that can hibernate for months without water and food.

1 week in deep Samadhi is already formidable for a human.

Samadhi is a Supramundane Mental Aggregate phenomenon whereby the distinct discrete consciousness are not experience by or part of any normal human mental faculty, consciousness, feeling and perception.

But his body is still a mundane normal human flesh, organs and skeleton.

Indian called him "god-man" - is a reference to his "Supramundane Mental Aggregate Faculty - with human mundane body - that are still subject to Earth 4 Great Elements - that need to be nourish by water and food".

Supramundane consciousness Samadhi - are made up of 5 distinct discrete consciousness not experienced in human mankind specifically:-

(1) Initial application of mental focus on a nimitta. (nimitta not experienced by mundane human - can be verified by psychologist, psychiatrists or neuroscientists).

(2) Sustained application of mental mindfulness on a nimitta. (nimitta not experienced by mundane human - can be verified by psychologist, psychiatrists or neuroscientists).

(3) Mental Blissfulness - known as Sukkha (consciousness not experienced by mundane human) (not mundane bliss - can be verified by psychologist, psychiatrists or neuroscientists).

(4) Mental Happiness - known as Piti (not mundane human happiness - can be verified by psychologist, psychiatrists or neuroscientists).

(5) 1 pointedness Samadhi concentration equanimity - on a sharp pointed nimitta of light - (not experience by mundane human - - can be verified by psychologist, psychiatrists or neuroscientists). Upon the 1 pointedness Samadhi concentration equanimity - the meditator is said to have entered into a "Deep Samadhi Jhana".

(This is a state whereby "Parallel Universe" - will be experienced - whereby he enter into another elevated dimension and detached from the human mundane world).

In Chinese, 五蕴皆空 (5 Mental Aggregate Emptiness) is experienced - at this State - whereby all his 5-sense consciousness of sight, taste, touch, hearing, smell; feelings, perception, judgemental functions and mental formation - go into "Emptiness - whereby his mundane Mental Faculty Functions - are transformed into Supramundane Functions of Samadhi Rupa Jhana,

The next State - he will experienced will be - 4 Great Element Emptiness - 四大皆空。

All the body functions including the skeleton will be absorbed or suck by a very powerful suction force into the 1 pointedness Samadhi concentration equanimity - on a sharp pointed nimitta of light.

(This State is likened - the powerful suction of Celestial Bodies of galaxies, stars, planets, moon satellite into a Black Hole).

When this happen, the meditator will experienced body transformation from mundane body to Supramundane body of lightness (where the body seems to have vanished and all the mundane body phenomenon and consciousness of the 4 Great Elements of Air, Temperature, Matter and Water - like itchness, pain, discomfort, hotness, etc will vanished) - this is the State of 4 Great Element Emptiness - 四大皆空 that can go on for 1 week - where the human body can still survived.

Beyond that, the body will still be intact - but will have become sariras - that is clinically dead.


Both of his physical and mental faculty has been
transformed achieving 脱胎换骨 –
whereby both of his physical and mental faculty “Parallel
Universe”transformation
is attained.


If the meditator "refused to come back" or "do not know how to come back" from this blissful state and he become body sariras - or announced clinically dead ----- his life go on into the Rupa Form Heavenly Realm without actually "died" - because he is conscious and he continue his life into another realm - Rupa Form Heavenly Realm, albeit living in a "Parallel Universe" in another dimension.
But because he has give up his mundane human body - by "not coming back from Supramundane to mundane human body" - to Human world - he is considered "clinically dead" - but to the meditator - he is just like living the human mundane world and travel to the Supramundane world "by air" in full consciousness. But to human world - he is considered "passed away" as he cannot come back into his human body - as his human body organ and function are no longer working.
Note:- when normal human passed away, the normal human also go through such state - except everything happen not in the human's full consciousness - and have to go through a long gestation period of born in a womb etc to become a full human.
Meditator in Samadhi Jhana just transcend into the Jhana Form Realm in full consciousness - just like cutting a sapling from a tree and plant it in another place and a new young tree grow.
    Normal human birth though womb to become baby is like planting a seed to grow into a tree

    So in Mahayana Pureland - who believe in 往生净土, it is the same phenomenon that is mentioned above when the meditator go into Samadhi - he did not passed away effectively, in fact transcending into the Pureland state with full consciousness.
