If people have easy access to guns, the police has no where to tell who is possessing guns and who will use it.
Police will have to assume that everyone has the possibility of carrying a gun and will use it. Thus Police will shoot first if anyone resist in case that person whip out a gun to shoot at Police or anyone in the street. Gun death will always rise in such a situation - "Shoot first, Talk later".
Scenario 2 :-
All people carry guns to protect themselves. In the slightest sign of conflict or argument, the chances is some will likely to whip out a gun to intimidate, control or overwhelm his/her adversaries. As such, the chances is, where there is conflict, people whipping out guns to shoot others, and others retaliate to shoot back become possible.
And the whole US become a war zone. Home terrorism with rifle firing wildly away become rampant - even without ISIS inspired terrorism.
Thus gun control is the only way to reduce gun violence in US.
In many Countries where guns are outlaw, almost no or negligible death or injuries from gun fight or gun attack.
US is one of the very rare Countries - where gun killing is as common as Countries with civil war.

If President Obama succeeded in implementing gun control in US, then President Obama will have earned the status of a "Living Bodhisattva" when completed the tenure of Presidency.
Under the reign of President Obama, he has implemented many policies that have bring about the well beings of many people in the World and has win over many friends (including past adversaries) and make the World a more Peaceful place.
Kudos should also be given to all the President Administration that has supported the President and help to make this possible.
A Bodhisattva is a Saint that have done things to save the lives of many sentinent beings (human) and help to preserve World Peace.

Obama, frustrated by Congress, plans unilateral U.S. gun control steps
The recent reform in Chinese military command make up of 5 military zones from 7 military zones seems to aim to consolidate into something more manageable and more nimble in responding to defense that will be difficult if it is make up of 7 military command.
For eg.:-
(1) Facing the East, East Military Commad can be activated - in defense against Japan and Taiwan or even N Korea for eg.
(2) Facing the South, South Miliary Command can be activated - in defense against some SE Asian for eg.
(3) Facing the West, West Military Command can be activated - in defense against India for eg.
(4) Facing the North, North Military Command can be activated - in defense against Russia if relationship turn sour for eg.
(5) In the Central, Central Military Command can be activated - to protect Beijing and Central China
for eg.
If there are 7 Military Command, how to activate 2 or more Commands with 2 different Commanders - integration will be very difficult.

Thus China expansion in military assets must come with responsibility to preserve Global Peace, strengthening International Laws, promote business, trade, investment and travel as a responsible growing SuperPower but not vying for Military Supremacy and Omnipotent - than responsible expansion of military for defense will be acceptable.
The purpose of a credible defense military - is to preserve peace and serve as a deterrent to prevent war.

There are 9,000 mature Singaporeans PMETs are out of jobs - whereby 6,300 are graduates.
If there are 15,000 IT job vacancies in 2016 and 30,000 IT job vacancies in 2017 out there - rightfully there is no problem making the 9,000 mature Singaporeans PMETs employed.
But this is not the case - even when many mature Singaporeans PMETs are qualified for the jobs.
