More Oppositions - Malfunction Democracy

5. Why are we paying more oppositions in Parliament that cannot come out with working policies?

@Babe:7. We need best brains to form the cabinet - to tackle enormous global events.

9. Why let oppositions fill up the seats?


@Babe:7. More Oppositions force government to adopt populist policies detrimental to long term planning for short term gratification.

8. This means use up more reserves, less savings and more debts.

10. Don't just copy blindly.


@Babe:1. Having more oppositions in Parliament waste alot of time arguing rather than governing.


2. Most of the time, policies that are submitted to parliament has gone through many rounds of verification within civil service, consultation with the public or private sectors, Cabinet before tabling to Parliament.

3. Oppositions rarely value add to the tabled policies.


@Babe:1. The notion of own self check own self don't apply.


@Babe:1. CPIB can bypass the PM and seek President approval to investigate anyone.
