1. Synchronous mass drone display to usher in the countdown to a New Year.

2. It breaks tradition.

3. Display new high tech skillsets.

4. Demonstrate our drone military unit their polish drone drills in flying complex drone formation display.

5. Bring new surprises to the new year crowd.

6. And assure the population that we are ready in mastering our drone skills.

7. Our AI techniques in drone and robotics are ready to meet demanding challenges ahead - whether in AI jobs or new military requirements in reconnaissance or targeting or policing.

8. Once we master the mass drone display, can be extended to National Day parade as a section of military manoeuvres or cultural parade changing display with light in the sky.

Attending a fun non-crowded event (e.g. simple funfair) with wife and kids to celebrate the occasion. Event venue should be big enough to cater to the number of attendees so that it doesn't feel crowded (e.g. big field with shelter or hall).

Adam, [20/9/2024 11:45 AM]

Tbh i always feel these events are a waste of tax money

Adam, [20/9/2024 11:45 AM]

And the long queues is a waste of my time

Adam, [20/9/2024 11:46 AM]

If they can come up with something that theres absolutely no queue for and travel time, ill be happy with it

Adam, [20/9/2024 11:47 AM]

Problem is usually people travel or queue for hours to get something only a few bucks in value cos its free

1. Actually, government spending that are used domestically don't actually translate into losses in government budget.

2. In economic term, government spending domestically will trigger a multiplier effect through a circular flow of income, and contribute to economic activities and GDP growth.

3. For example, there is money spend to engage contractor to build stage, employ local artistes to perform, do decorations that provide business to decoration companies, etc - creating business and create jobs for domestic economies.

4. When this happens, GST, corporate tax, personal income tax will eventually go back to the government coffer, while helping business to make profit and workers get salary and bonus - indeed an economic multipler effects.

5. Even dishing out CDC or GST vouchers are not wasting taxpayers money as long as the money is spend domestically, triggering consumption - and contribute to GDP growth through multipler effects.

LCL (Danny 心), [20/9/2024 12:33 PM]

1. Government spending

2. Population consumption

3. Trade - exports and imports

4. Business investment

Are factors that will trigger economic activities resulting in GDP growth and multiplier effect.

LCL (Danny 心), [20/9/2024 12:37 PM]

1. In addition, such event celebration will have other beneficial effects such as:-

a. Spur confident that the country has done well and progress.

b. Inspire population unity by coming together to celebrate.

c. Spur domestic and foreign tourism, eat out in f&b, take transport etc - another multiplier effect of GDP contribution.

d. Sharpen the skills of organiser in staging big events and crowd control.

Jun Ming, [20/9/2024 12:40 PM]

For fireworks those that stay in high floor or near Malaysia can see the Malaysian version of fire works.

Jun Ming, [20/9/2024 12:40 PM]

As only marina bay area have fireworks for cny eve and new year eve

Jun Ming, [20/9/2024 12:41 PM]

So I usually just lay down on my bed to watch Malaysia fireworks

LCL (Danny 心), [20/9/2024 1:18 PM]

Because drones have become a game changer as unfold in the Ukraine war and able to change battle outcomes on the ground such as:-

1. Long range, 24 hours effective and stealth reconnaissance - more effective than deploying reconnaissance scouts.

2. Precision target strike on armour, arty, troop concentration, penetrate trenches, ammo dumps, command and control post, airfields etc.

3. Small RCI (Radar Control Interface) - invisible to radar if drone is not metallic-made that make air defense ineffective.

4. Display capability to evade EW and jamming.

5. Complement troop shortages as an extended arms, ears and eyes.

6. Effective loitering and precision munitions.

Ability to stage synchronize mass drones display demonstrate such capabilities and our mature tech prowress in the new military capabilities.

LCL (Danny 心), [20/9/2024 1:31 PM]

7. Unlike fireworks that are pyrotechnics - that is once shoot up and display, it will be burn out, cannot reuse and pollute the air (not environmental friendly, not green sustainable).

8. Mass drone formation flight display are :-

a. Environmental friendly, not polluting the air as pyrotechnics

b. Can be reused

c. Equally exciting to optics similar to fireworks (maybe can incorporate audio into each drone - optional)

d. Demonstrate tech prowress and new defense capabilities

e. Inspire confidence in our defense

f. Inspire more techy to train on drone flights (as Ukraine drones are almost fully build and developed by commercial and hobby techy and supply to the military.

Many operators are hobby techy).

(Note:- the geopolitical tensions will require us to be prepared by 3 years times - in case major incidents erupted - and we are well trained and well prepared).

A prancing lion turn into Merlion that spew water in the sky will be a great show.

LCL (Danny 心), [20/9/2024 2:27 PM]

Follow by fireworks display by drones to replace pyrotechnics fireworks.

LCL (Danny 心), [20/9/2024 2:28 PM]

Symbolizing Merlion prancing into the New Year.

LCL (Danny 心), [20/9/2024 2:43 PM]

And then drone display the countdown from 10 to 1 in the sky.

Follow by the digit display of 2025.

And then drone fireworks display erupt.
