And he did all this for the welfare and benefits of all Singaporeans - with all his Heart and Mind - sacrificing alot for Singapore even at his death-bed - the hallmark of "Compassion".
That is why it is so HEART-WARMING, HEART-WRENCHING !
That touches the heart and mind of every Singaporeans.

And he cannot tolerate those who try to disrupt on what he is trying to do for Singapore - as he is already facing alot of obstacles and difficulties to build things up - for he knows those who bring it down is easy and for him to build it up is so much harder.
This explain his forceful side.

An analogy :-
He is trying to piece up a jigsaw puzzle bit by bit - and someone comes along to mess up his puzzle that he has spent days putting together assuming the completion of the puzzle is a live-and-death for Singapore.
What will he do to that person who mess up the puzzle - when every Singaporeans lives is at stake?
I think he will rough up that guy and lock him up in the room (like a gangster) - and he will have to start from scratch again to rebuild the puzzle.

Good to do a precision strike on the IS leaders and militants as well as their ammo and armouries.Reply
Let get an updates of the outcome of the airstrike to see whether it help in the military progress and bring about the eventual defeat of the IS in Tikrit.
The 3 weeks siege has given chances for IS militants in Tikrit to surrender and walk out.
But since they did not do so, it is time to deliver the final punch.

The 3 weeks siege is a good time to collect more precise ground intelligence to aid in a surgical precision airstrike as opposed to carpet bombings - that will destroyed all buildings and infrastructure on the ground - and make rebuilding more costly and more hardship to the civilians in Tikrit.

Let us analyse what is the purpose of infrastructure bank.Reply
The purpose is to provide loan or grant which allow the beneficiaries Countries to build infrastructure such as road, dam, rail, ports, electricity, water supply, etc so that the beneficiaries Countries can benefit by building a livable city, a town, a province to allow its citizens to live in it, promote economic growth, create jobs, enhance social benefits, political stability which in turn contribute to the World Economy.
The Countries that contribute to such infrastructure bank will in return earn returns from the loans or grants or Economic benefits with the beneficiaries Countries that make use of the loans in terms of trade, business, investment or interest etc.
Thus it is important how this loan is disbursed and manage - so that it will not be lost due to :-
(1) Mismanagement
(2) Corruption
(3) Invest in infrastructure that damage the Eco-System and consequently causing Global Warming
(4) Invest in projects that have no economic, social benefits that become a white elephant - a useless wasted projects.
(5) Engaging wrong contractors that result in inferior quality
(6) Poor project management that cause the project to overrun and cause the project cost to inflate that go way beyond the budget.
Thus important to have high governance standard & experience in managing the infrastructure bank. Otherwise, the infrastructure bank can be a losing entity.

Of couse the infrastructure bank - politically is an entity of projection of influence.

For eg. if you may see many failed projects :-
(1) a project to build MRT in a city - where all the pillars to hold up the rail is built. but no track and no MRT are build - as the project are discarded mid-way - and have become a white elephant.
(2) a project to build a resort - piling of foundation is done, but project abandon. The piling and foundation with huge crater is created.
(3) reservoir was built as catchment of rain water to supply water to a town. When the reservoir is completed, no rain and the reservoir is a cement - with soil and grass but no water. The whole town has no water supply.
Thus isn't it important to have a strong financial governance and technical feasibility team to study the project before disbursing loans to finance the infrastructure projects?
Otherwise the infrastructure bank may bankrupt with the above examples of failed projects finance by the bank.

Another example is to finance an energy project (but no city planning).
When the energy project is completed - it was discover that it does not gel with the whole city planning that come in later - and in fact cause pollution to the city it suppose to support.
The energy project has to stop and demolished.

And for all this failed projects, the money thrown in is not recoverable - and at the same time, there are no returns from the money invested.
A bad debt written off, of the hard-earned money.

If there is no military advancement can be made on the ground without the airstrike, then strategic strike that will help to make military advances will have to be made.Reply
But still bear in mind, should it be a carpet bombing that destroy all buildings making reconstruction costly and difficult when the war is over or should it be a surgical strike that can pry open deadlock such as clearing boobby traps, bombs, sniper position, heavy weapons emplacement etc.
If the Iraqi troops, militas and Sunni civilians in general agree that the siege did not force a surrender from IS militants holed up in there and airstrike is required to clear the danger, general consensus will be good to gain ground support for the airstrike with help from the US airstrike with precision strike.
The more than 1 week wait is good enough to show the general population that maximum restraint has been exercised in the offensive of Tikrit - an offensive with Compassion to liberate the sufferings of the civilians in Tikrit.
