But as long as human or sentinent beings possess the body (a pile of garbage) - with 5 Mental Aggregates - not basked in Jhana Samadhi or Nirvana - sensual desires do arise.

Thus even Attained Enlightened Beings will still need Dharma Protectors or need to maintain Jhana states or Nirvana states to prevent sensual desires from arising.

Sensual desires will not arise only if the person is a "Robot".

Even in the Highest Heaven of Formless - Nothingness & Non-Nothingness - sensual desire still exist in the most sublime sub-conscious form - though suppress by Arupa Jhana.

In the 2nd Highest Heaven of Form - sensual desires still exist and suppress by Rupa Jhana.

In the 3rd Highest Heaven of Sensual Desire - sensual desires is enjoyed at the maxim.

Even in Supramundane Nirvana, sensual desire exists (which is a 12-Dependant Origination of Life or Adam & Eve) side-by-side with Nirvana 3-Ring Fruition - but could not penetrate the Nirvana 3-Ring Fruition in Emptiness. (Dualistic Law of Form & Formless) (色 & 空)

This is the true Universal Law.

Thus suggest that Religious dressing should be worn in the Religious Institutions or during Religious events. (which represent State of Nirvana - Spiritual). = Religious Leaders and Monastic Life.

In secular world, maintain the secular state of dressings. (which represent the Physical Universe - Mundane - 12 Dependant Origination of Life). = Layperson.

Why mixed up the 2 - and defy the Universal Law of Dualistic Principles?

By separating the 2 - the Principles of Dualistic Principles - are in Equilibrium.

No 4 – Korean Peninsula nuclear issue, North Korea desire to open up the Economic System to the World, China backdoor that is always protected and now the rest of Countries with different Political System encircling China, and of course US refocus on Asia Pacific – to reinforce US trade and strategic interest – where Asia Pacific is buoyant in business with over $ trillion in trade – who will want to give up the Asia Pacific region?

 

With growing Economic strength, and with fear of North Korea opening up to International Community if the nuclear issue is resolved (that traditional play a role in covering China’s backdoor) – making China’s backdoor wide open – China will sharply react – like what she is doing now – a very sharp “knee jerk reaction” – as she perceived her “security” will be threatened.

 

Thus to resolve the issue of Korean Peninsula nuclear issue, will have to be handle delicately.

 

Both Koreas’ interest.

China’s interest.

US’s interest.

Russia’s interest.

Japan’s interest.

 

All interests will have to be balanced. Middle East experiences in settling deals are invaluable and can be used here.

 

Adding to the interest, is US has strategic defense alliance with many Allies and Partners in this region and US will act if Allies’ interest are threatened.

 

This is a more complicated dealing as compare to the Middle East’s issue – as all SuperPowers’ interest congregate in the Korea Peninsula.

No 3 – A 3^rd thorn in the flesh for China, is her long history of part of her lands being occupied by foreign parties – notably 八国连军 where Macau, Hongkong are “rented out” and the Japanese invasion of China in WW2 for 3 to 4 years as well as civil war – and Taiwan is separated.

 

Japan is one of the main party involved in the八国连军 and the WW2 occupation – of course China is boiling in the heart and will want to settle scores and count the debt when now China perceive that is in a stronger position now.

If a person commit a crime, cannot punish his son or daughter right?

 

But if the son and daughter do not show remorse of their ancestors’ wrongdoings and in fact glorify their wrongdoings – are not correct also right?

No 2 – I think another thorn in China’s flesh – is the historical WW2 baggage with Japan. Though Japan and China has go on peacefully after WW2 – with trade, investment, business, official exchange etc, the underlying historical WW2 karma seeds has not been eradicated.

 

But China has to bear in mind that the horrendous sufferings are not inflicted by the Japanese descendants. It is the Japanese ancestors’ wrongdoings and not the current Japanese descendants’ wrongdoings.

 

In fact, the current Japanese dealings with the World after WW2 are largely positive.

 

But the only thing that has cause unhappiness to those who have suffered under the hands of the Japanese ancestors is that the Japanese Cabinets are still visitng the Yashurine Shrine – and glorifying the past militarism of the war crime of WW2.

 

Though I doubt Japanese will ever want to go back to its past military aggression – but still showing the World “Full Repentance” or “Full Atonement” – will rid Japanese difficulty she face when dealing with China and South Korea.

 

“Full Repentance” or “Full Atonement” is a strength not a weakness – in both mundane world and supramundane world. In fact, in Supramundane world - “Full Repentance” or “Full Atonement” is an Attainment of Sainthood.

Japanese bowing - is a sign of manner, also a sign of humbleness, also a sign of lowering of ego or self.
 

But I think under the current circumstances, where China is breathing so hard down the Japan’s neck, Japan will not want to relent to show sign of “Repentance or Atonement” – even though in Japan’s heart, they know this is the most wholesome way to do.

But I think China in this instance raise her stake so sharply and so suddenly, is wanted to resolve her situation – specifically “insecurity” – especially on her differences in her political system with the rest of the World – especially when the next issue to resolve is the Korean peninsula nuclear issue right after the breaking of ice in the Iran nuclear deal - that will immediately come right to her "backdoor".

By upping the stake, is meant to sharply attract World attention to address the following thorn in the flesh that is making China very uncomfortable, as the World when engaging China must know (esp. when US Vice President is visiting China next week – a good start).

No 1 – China want to reform and China’s desire to be forward looking is known to everyone. But she want to be assured that the Party that can govern must continue to govern – otherwise the whole country will be in chaos. This is the most important “concern” that is tormenting the Chinese Government – from internal pressure and external influence. As long as this is address, China will be less likely to have very sharp “knee jerk reaction”.

Solution :- Democracy is an open system & the Government elected has the Mandate from their People. Thus it will be very attractive to the People they Govern.

But everyone can see, when Democracy are “free-wheeling” - & lose control – it can be quite chaotic.

If Government and Opposition are in a “Deadlock” – the whole Government will be in “limbo” and Governance will be extremely difficult and the whole country cannot move.

Too much freedom and too many diverse voice – when not put into a proper framework – like anyhow demo – will paralysed and crippled the whole country – we can see so many examples of turmoil and chaos that is happening in the World – like Arab Spring – and now so close to this region is Thailand.

But it does not mean that this will not happen to a Communist System.

Moreover the “Biggest BAD” of a democratic system is that – a Party that have won the election will not be able to plan long term in terms of Economic Policy, Security Policy, Social Policy, Education Policy, and other blah blah policies.

What is worst is that if Election churn out 1 Party now, and the next Election churn out another Party – all the Policies will “chop and change”- the 1^st 5 year this set of policies, and the next 5 year reverse and come out with another set of policies ----- which can be call the “Yo-Yo”effect.

A song to illustrate this “Yo-Yo” effect - now put on the music and listen to the song “MacDonald – e ai e ai yo”.

So the policies 1^st 5 years will swing here, and next 5 years will swing there.

Thus, China must be reassured that if China want to reform its political system, China must find a political system – that will encompass a system that bring upon the “Mandate” from their People but will also ensure that their incumbent Communist Party – that know how to run the Country, continue to Govern.

Only when China have found this system, will China take a plunge and reform her political system.

I believe China is experimenting various form of such political system in their fold, but have still yet to find the right one. Eg. The HongKong etc.

I think China is also looking closely into Singapore type of Democratic System and see how China can adopt.

Problems pile up in Asia for US policymakers

I think US can be proactive to engage China and determine what will be the best outcome in Asia Pacific through Win-Win solutions.

It will be better for Asia Pacific instead of letting it deteriorate and result in sudden turn of events - and need to scramble to do damage control.

Constructive engagement than confrontation will be a better option - and situation may go out of control suddenly with little reaction time.

Middle East experience is valuable as many bitter, thorny issues - can be managed without deteriorating to near military confrontation.

Asia Pacific situation which is more peaceful - should also adopt similar approach.

The interloper will intrude and provoke and test out the response. Try doing it near their Atlantic or Pacific coast and the answer is clear. "Make no mistake..."?

The intrusion is a good proof-of-concept - to test whether the zone is indeed enforceable and whether if military confrontation did take place between China and Japan - will it be an easy meat --- or mass air casualties - through miscalculation and underestimating the opponents' capabilities.

A small test reveals that military confrontation - will have a heavy price to pay from both sides - and it always doesn't pay.

So many examples of these - where military option is not the best option in resolving issues - it will cause 元气大伤 - no matter how big and resourceful a Country is.

Military option is only used as an option of last resort - usually used in a matter of life and death to protect the country from invasion - & should not be used as an option to resolve issues that can be resolved by other wholesome means.
